been offline a while, thanks for the input fellas, the leg is feeling fine now but it did take about 3 weeks for it to get back to normal strength. I just wanted to bump this to see if anyone knows what you should do to avoid hitting a nerve while injecting?

usually i can feel it before i drill through a nerve. your quad
will start to tense up, or spasm, ive had a few times where
i thought it was going to shoot the needle clear across the
room. when this happens i just pull it out and stick myself
somewhere else. thats all the advice i can think of. if u dont
feel it hit the nerve, than i guess your fucked until it heals.

I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about, I remember having the leg spasm on me once...probably the time I hit the nerve....I just assumed I was being a wuss or something and kept on going hehe.
