Almost full circle in 100 years......

In the early 1900s:

Industrial captains had monopolized the economy into huge trusts.

Politics had become a swamp of patronage and corruption.

Jobs sucked

So liberals brought in antitrust laws, civil service reforms and labor protections.

Who will prevail this time around?

The Bushbarians/neocons are trying to ride to victory with a perceived tough stance on terrorism. If not for 9/11, I wonder what they would have to show other than reduced income and increased spending making a monumental deficit?

this neo-conservatism needs to be crushed. I cant see it lasting too long, people will probably come to their senses.

It is still fairly new...started with Reagan.

We need Perot to whip out some charts and graphs to show people that it has not worked.

Our youth has grown up with lay offs, downsizing, outsourcing, CEO pay rising by 1000% every few years while corruption multiplies by a similar rate.

I admire thier tenacity at hanging with these trends and I doubt they will tend to vote for more of the same.

The neocons are digging a deep hole.

Nothing a few "experts" strategically placed on TV won`t fix.
