I've developed an allergy of unknown origin.
At least, I think its an allergy.

My eyes are bloodshot all the time (one in particular is pretty red), and my lip is puffy (that happens to me a lot).

Should I just go to an eye doctor (easy), or find an allergist (not easy)?

or just kill myself?

Claritin won't make you floaty in the head. I have to take it almost every day. =-(

Seriously, try a very simple alergy med and see if that helps. I am going thru the same thing right now, also with what seems to be a skin reaction to something and I'm too stubborn to go to the doctor.

Claritin is great, my son is very allergic to cats, when he comes to visit he takes the 24 hour tabs, gets NO side effects and he's good until the next morning.

Assuming no new laundry detergent/fabric softener, pets, perfume/cologne, you haven't eaten anything strange, then you could be allergic to pollen or, most likely, mold (if you've been getting heavy rains, too). You could check here, see what's up in your area:

If you're still reacting tomorrow a.m., it's probably environmental, but it could have been a one time exposure and you'll be fine tomorrow and you'll never know what it was (it happens).

yeah, my skin isn't looking so great either. Not terrible, but enough so that I've started washing my face way more often cause I thought maybe it was a reaction to sweat.
