I like to reduce pseudoephedrine into a crystalline form and smoke it for my allergies. Works pretty well.

i have nasty allergies...i got 2 to 4 allergy shots a week for a few years when i was a kid...they're a lot better than they used to be (my eyes used to be swelled/caked shut every morning from spring into early summer and then i'd have bouts with ragweed and shit in the fall), but they're still pretty bad...i take one 10mg loratadine (claratin) every morning...it works...it's not a miracle cure, but it definitely takes the edge off the itchy/watery eyes/nose thing and kinda calms the respiratory sides.

oh, and, it doesm't do anything to me...no drowsiness, no speediness, nothing...and EVERYTHING that has the possibility of sides effects me...i'm a very cheap date.

The regular Claritin isn't speedy? I do take Benadryl, I just take it before bed. It knocks me out, so if I tried it during the day I'd be a groggy zombie.

The tree pollen is insane here with all the rain we got in April.
Levels are at some all time highest from DC up to Maine. I've just been taking sudafed first thing in the am and when needed.
I've been waking up with a huge sinus headache.

My stupid car is green from all of the pollen. My doc gave me a bunch of Veramyst samples, so hopefully these work.

all of the nasal spray remedies seem to work well...however, they dry out my head so bad that i always end up with a sinus infection, so i can't use them.

you have to prophylax my friend. Zyrtec works well, Claritin is ok, but I like Zyrtec better. None of those will work well at all if you start taking them after you're already all fugged up though. Gotta take them in advance. When the weather is going to change and you know the pollen count will go up, you gotta start taking it every day. Where I live, that can happen multiple times a year at any time, so I just take it every day throughout the year.

I hate any of the inhalants (nasal steroids, salines, etc.). Nev, if you're really fucked up and want to feel better fast, call your doc and ask him to send a script to the pharmacy for a course of oral prednisone.
