Do Democrat's not believe in the war in Afghanisastain? Or is it just pacifist's who do not believe in war?

I'm confused on this subject because if I can remember right, there have been certain identities on this board - no name's we all know who they are - who kept on saying they did not feel we were justified in our relentess pursuit of Osama. They said there was no point in us being in Afghanisastain, it wasn't our fight.

I just gotta ask you then. Why did you support Bill Clinton in his obviously lame attempt at being stern, when he sent Marine's and Army personnel to Somalia? That was a place where our noses did not need to be. Sure it's sad that genocide took place, but for us to come in and try and be the major dictator and restore peace to the what, 300,000 + starving people. That was absolute idiocracy to me. Oh yeah, I just say the movie Blackhawk Down and it got me thinking.

Please help me understand why you think they way you do.
