the firetop grill in chicago kicks ass.

it's all stir fry - pick your veges, meats, & sauces and they stir fry it up for you. you can make it as healthy as you want - and it's all you can eat.

my boyfriend & i go there after the gym. there are always lots of other couples there on dates - it's fun to see how revolted they are after we come back with our 3 - 4th helpings.

Any Mongolian grills - the kind where you fill up a bowl with meat (and veggies, if you like that kind of thing) and sauces and they cook it for you.

There is a fucking FANTASTIC buffet about 45 minutes from my house called Shady Maple. It’s near Reading, PA, a few miles west of Morgantown on Rte23. It is a huge buffet owned and operated by Amish people, with nothing but home cooking. The menu changes daily, but we are talking stuff like grilled salmon steaks, many kinds of beef and other fish, stuffing, mashed potatoes, homemade french fries, smoked turkey, several kinds of beans, carrots, and corn, ham, homemade bread and rolls, steamed broccoli with melted cheese, a huge salad bar, baked potatoes, and this is less than half of what is available. Oh and the deserts, homemade apple pie, the absolute BEST shoe fly pie you have ever eaten, other pies, cookies, ice cream, etc.

It’s not a cheap buffet at about $15 a head, but God is it heaven on earth.

amish people know how to feed people. there is an amish resturant by where i live, called millers essenplatz. one time i ate there, they had this burger that was size of the plate. it was ginormous. and they are very nice too.
