my favorite tool songs are aenima and parabola.

there are many young bands inspired by tool. But there are few accomplished older bands that sound just like tool. Maynard was kind of different when he came out, that's why he made a splash.

There is a new tool album coming out soon, I'd wait for that

Hush, Swamp Song, Jerk-Off....Every song they have ever done. No Quarter originally written by Led Zepplin is an awesome cover of theirs.

Their first EP was excellent, the title track opiate is probably my favorite tool song. I don't listen to much tool, other that that EP though.

some good songs are judith, passive, and the hollow. Theres alot more good songs too.

Lateralus, Eulogy, Schism, Hooker with a Penis...Those are a few good ones that haven't been mentioned yet...if you've never seen Tool live and you like them at all, you should definitely go the next time they tour(prob. mid 2006), it's one of the best shows I've ever been to...APC kicks ass too!

you also might want to check out Earshot, they have a "tool" sound.
Tool is an outstanding talent and you cant go wrong with any of their songs.

check out "chevelle". they have a tool sound to them. Some songs are "the red", "the clincher", and "vitamin R".

All songs, all albums. Tool is one of very few bands that consistantly put out albums w/o any bad songs. I like to make mix disks of favorites, but tool I just have by itself, one disk after another, they all just flow.
