Hello All,

AAS sure messes up our hair and its a daily topic of discussion here on the Steroids Board. No doubt its one of the worst irreversible side effects.

I got a good few PM's from Bros asking me to put back up the links to some photos I posted of my hair transplant a few weeks ago. I'll have new ones shortly, but here are the ones I put up first. Hair Transplants are asked about alot. I'll tell you in a few months whether it was a good idea or not. I can see my implants just starting to grow now.

I had mine done the last day of march. It takes 6 months to see results, so by the end of September I'll post some "final" pics.

The top photo is just before I started. It shows a heavy receding hair. I have Primo to thank for that! The photo below it with me in the T-Shirt shows you the front of my hairline where there has been significant "filling" by the time the op was completed. You'll notice I never touched the scalp. This will be done next year. Once I see the results I'll post complete photos.

What I like the most is how he brought my hairline forward. Makes a serious difference.

Also, it isn't cheap, so ask all the questions I mentioned above. Any Bro that wants to PM me or ask any questions here, please do.....Coz I'm your Brother!!!

Finally, heres what the scar looks like for the first 5-7 weeks after. Not for the faint-hearted. Another pic of my head, this time where they took the implants from.

good shit man, thanks for posting these pics... can't wait to see what it looks like at the 6 month mark.

do you notice any "tightness" like when putting your head down (chin to chest) or when looking side to side because of the donor area removed? I always wondered if it would restrict movement

Yes, you get a free "neck tuck" alright!!! They take a piece from the back of your head, so it takes a good 6 months to fully recover from that as well. It doesn't restrict movement at all, but its a slow healing process. A Hair Transplant is not the minor surgery they have you believe. Its a slow, costly, and lengthy process

Thanks for the info bro! That looks like a serios cut but I hope it will all be worth it for you when you see the final result. I do have a question for you, can't they just take a small piece or should I say a few follicles and clone the fuckers instead of taking so many? Thanks bro!

thanks for the post... something i have been considering.. mine is not bad at all but there is some thinning really beginning... be sure to post more pics, alot of folks here are interested in your progress..

I think I am going to wait to they get a little more advanced on this field before I get mine done.i am to much of a fag to get a surgery like that right now.I am praying for them to come up with something more along the lines of no surgery.

My hairline is looking good right now, I know in time it will start to thin out... I hope by that time science has advance to the point where they can clone my head and grow a new one in a lab then rip the hair out of the cloned head and put it on mines... Until that day comes I will not go thru any other kind of hair restoration surgery. I really don't feel like having a slice of my scalp being cut out.

wow if i could afford a hair transplant it would be the best thing in the world...i cant imagine not having to worry about running a deca/dbol/winny cycle or something just fuckin crazy that seems like it'll never happen for me...SOMEDAY! hah around how much that run ya bro?

Well, I did what many Brits do and went to Thailand for affordable surgery. Got a massive 2200 grafts. Will return for another session later next year. That should see me right. In europe and USA its about $6 per graft. Its half that in Asia and they are masters at Plastic Surgery.

You can even get yourself a massive pair of tits as well while your out there too as they cater for everything, but I declined the temptation :D

Also, for the question on the size of the strip they take, well because there is a limit to the amount of times they can take from your donor area, you are best getting a significent amount done at once. They will only take what they need, but as seen in the pic, its a MoFo of a scar!

what would your head look like shaved?

To be honest Tweakle, I looked fine shaved, its just this constant buzzing of my head annoyed me. Plus, my skin is dry and took ages to do it. Some guys enjoy the shaved head, but I got absolutely sick of it.

The problem now is that i'll have to get a lazer treatment to reduce the scar on my head and get it the same colour as the rest of my skin if I ever want to shave my head in future.

sorry, I meant what would the scarring look like if you shaved? would you have frankenhead or would it not be that visible.

im curious as to this cause my wig is thinning out a bit this last couple of years... I always shave ED but I'd rather there was stubble there, if that makes sense :) I look like a tool with hair so it's a no brainer

I got excited about hair cloning until I saw it involved chopping chunks out of your scalp and then sewing them back

I'm curious as to what vin deisil's done to fill in his landing pad, wondering if it's makeup or tattoo-d dots or something

Tweakle,

well Vin D is gone extremely thin on top now. His hair days are over. Maybe he saved what he had left by using easy on the hair Var cycles as he appears to have dropped back abit in size the last few years (still in top shape from lots of var though but not as big as his Test cycle days- certain of it)

Unfortunately, you will have a scar on the back of your head. Its a clean cut and I got a haircut too tight already and it looked like someone had slashed me with a knife in a fight or something. Not nice. If you get one done, you'll have a scar that is very visible, but it is possible to have minor lazer treatment to reduce the scar and make it the exact same colour as your skin. This will then allow you to buzz the head. But......you'll then need to keep it buzzed as hair never grows on the scar and that makes it visible when the rest of it grows instead.

Hey Riverock, I am curious, what was your hair regimen like before doing the transplant surgery? Were you using anything daily like minoxodil, shampoos, or even finast/dutasteride (and for how long)? Also were you running anythng to protect your hair while juicing? Lastly, how old are you and after how many years of AAS use did it take for your hair to become like this?

Hi Izzman,

Well, that was the first major problem. I did a cycle of Sustanon and noticed only very modest hairloss. I kind of knew I'd lose hair eventually, but thought that was alot further down the line. Anyhow, did Sustanon and Primo for a second cycle and I can honestly say that I woke up on morning about 5 weeks into the cycle and went "WTF"!!!! I was a hotel manager at the time and one of the receptionists goes "Wheres your hair". It was literally falling out by the day.

However, I still had a moderate amount to rescue and by using Dutasteride with Test only cycles, this was achieved. I also use Nizoral shampoo every day. It is proven to work and it does. Don't use anything else except Test if taking Dutasteride/Proscar and remember that you must start Dutasteride or Proscar a good month before your cycle itself begins. Used Minoxodil, but I didn't find it value for money. It was nearly £30 (50 Dollars) a month and I didn't see it doing anything that Nizoral (£5) couldn't do just as well. I was right.

I am 27 Years old. I think in hindsight that I was starting to slowly lose hair naturally at 25. Its not until you lose 40% of your overall hair on top that you notice it, so obviously I had 39% gone at that stage!!! The first Cycle I did was just on my 26th birthday (January last year) and noticed very modest loss, but the second one Primo/Sus nailed me. I did another one after that again of Sus with Dutasteride as protection and it was a dream cycle.

I suppose, the thing is, all we're doing is putting off the inevitable. I must admit that I even though I am now really pleased to see all the new hair growing around the front of my head and look good/feel good again, I am already making future plans. Someday the rest of my natural hair will go and that is why I ensured all hair transplants were done in the one place rather than "spot filling". Axel Rose did this and now he looks silly as he has hair in one place, none in another etc. Also, I'll eventually get treatment on the scars to get them reduced and made the same colour as my natural skin. Alot of expence and time. I'll let everyone know in 10 years if it was worth it!!!

Great info! Thanks for sharing.

How did you find your surgeon in Thailand. I want to vacation, there, and since I'll be in the neighborhood...

Thanks bro. What kind of scarring did you experience where the plugs were put in. I mean, did you have to wear a hat or anything and, if so, for how long?

No, vin D, had something done, I noticed that too.

He was thining(starting to bald) on top and now he looks like he has a full head of hair just clipped short.

^^^??

Also, what's the latest on cloning. It is my understanding that its har resoration surgery without the scar as they only need a tine portion to clone. anyone got info?
