got me thinkin a little..it was my understanding that injectables were much safer pertaining to the liver vs. orals..from what ive read the last week or so injectable fina and winny can cause liver problems much like a-bombs and d-bol..my question is what A.S is harshest on the liver?what is generally the safest A.S.??is their any evidence that long-term creatine usage can cause liver damage??just lookin to get a little more educated..thanx!

I have never seen a study that said Fina was hard on the liver. Dbol and winny are hard on the liver no matter what mode of administration. I think halo is one of the hardest on the liver. When taking 17aa drink plenty of water and take ALA. The liver is an organ that can regenerate to a certain extent.

Anadrol is the only steroid, which has been directly linked to liver cancer.

As far as winny, it is 17 aa, which allows the drug to pass through the liver - this is what causes liver damage. So any, drug that is 17 aa will be harsh on the liver.

Anavar is also 17aa - so I don't completely understand why it is not considered as harsh on the liver - but I have seen studies that show it is less harsh on the liver than even a drug such as deca. So go figure.

yeah, it seems like it wasn't the usual suspects that were found at fault this time. i think it is just the individual's predisposition to liver problems, and the AAS...... whatever they are......bring on the complications. some guys take 150mg dbol for a month and get no problems...then a guy can do winny and tren and get really sick. gotta keep an eye on yourself i guess no matter what you are taking. but it also seems the orals are the bad guys, for obvious reasons for all concerned. anavar seems to be the "safest" and anadrol seems to be the "harshest" liver wise. but who knows..............

Not sure about fina actually causing liver problems. There are tons of fina rumors, though... Winny is a 17aa, so injectible or not it is harder on the liver than non-17aa's. Halo is pretty hard on ya, anadrol too. Any of the non-17aa injectables are not too hard on the liver. As for orals, primo's not too hard at all.

No evidence of long term liver or kidney problems from creatine. Not that I have seen yet at least...

Most orals that are filtered through the liver will cause damage if you abuse the substance...even tylenol and asprin.

Especially tylenol, that shit doesnt do the liver any favors....

ive been pretty safe so far only doing a couple of sus cycles and one short fina cycle..i think im going to stick with sus cycles maybe twice a year since i respond well to test..I really dont take tylenol as ibuprofen does the job..I need to start getting my liver values checked on a regular basis just for peace of mind..thanks for the replies!

In general, Anadrol is high dosage (50mg) so there is a temptation to use more and therefore has a higher chance of being abused.

2thick, I don't think aspirin is hard on the liver, it can be hard on the lining of the stomach and cause stomach ulcers, but I don't think it is hard on the liver. Tylenol, definitely. I avoid that stuff and anti-inflammatories. They have caused sores in my mouth, which is a sign of liver stress.

My doctor said that taking bi-monthly shots of testosterone for hormone placement therapy triples your chance of liver cancer. The overall incidence of liver cancer is still low. But, even injectables are stressful on the liver. Important to keep the liver enzymes monitored. I've got to find out how high they have to be elevated for you to come off of AAS. Some doctors will tell you to come off even if they're slightly elevated. All of this stuff that we talk about on here should be covered in detail in some book. Anyone know what book? The questions are redundant and people give different answers on this board. I don't trust the advice unless it comes from highly knowledgeable sources.

I would challenge your doctor regarding the evidence on that statement as I doubt there is anything to back it up

Ask him what journal that data was published in and see what he says. He's confusing testosterone esters with methyl-T, or he's just confused.

Oxandrolone has reduced heptotoxic potential because it is not extensively metabolized by the liver, and has a saturated A-ring that appears to reduce liver toxicity in C-17 oral androgens for whatever reason (Ishak and Zimmerman, 1987; BTG Investigators Brochure).

W6 I have seen those studies and they were with very low doses like 20mg/day yet still thats weird cause even 10 of winstrol alter liver enzymes a bit.
I can't see anavar at male muscle building levels, ie:50mg/day min, being easy on the liver but maybe I'm wrong.

I for one would like to see more studies posted in regard to anavar and liver toxicity.

This is very wrong. It unbelievable to me that a physician would make a statement like that. But I know they do every day.

No, I don't think so. It is proven that testosterone increases the liklihood of liver tumors. It says that on the insert. If 3 out of 1000 people develop liver tumors. 9 out of 1000 that take testrorone replacement will develop them. Still a low percentage. But this is for therapeutic dosages. But also this is long term usage.
