Pop up stopper is the shit. Make sure to check for updates because pop ups get tricker, but the current version is stopping them all for me on every site. It's tight.

paniceware simply does not allow new windows to open. just turn it off if you want to do the karma thing then back on to avoid popups.

Also if you want a window to open just hit Ctrl. Honestly I usually leave it off because 1-2 pop ups don't bother me but if I the pop ups start getting crazy, I must turn it on. Does anyone even think those things are effect advertising?

It's been my observsation as of late the many sites are getting pop up heavy just to get you to pay so you can surf the site and avoid all the pop ups. That's why on many sites pop ups are so annoying because they are meant to be. It's just another example of the overall change of the net. Webmasters have realized you can't make jack off the web onless you are directly selling something to consumers. The net was so much cooler 2 years ago when everything was free. But all good things come to an end.
