CRY ME A RIVER HAS A REMIX WITH 50 ON IT. I DOUBT THEY ACTUALLY COLLAB'D TO DO IT THOUGH. JUST CUT SOME LYRICS AND ADDED IT TO THE SONG.

This right here is a perfect example of what's wrong with rap today. The collaborations are out of control. When you have a rapper joining forces with a cracker-ass boy band member...that's sad. I realize it's for $$ purposes, but come on. Have some standards.

To me, pop is anything all over MTV getting eaten up by people who have Justin Timberlake posters in their room and 50 Cent fits that billing. It's anyone who targets a certain age group of white kids. Again he and his blonde haired counterpart plug that zone too.

Yes I know how many people are all over MTV that come and go -- some recent exits include Juvenile, Master P, Mystikal (hell let me save some time and just say everyone from Georgia and New Orleans), D12, Memphis Bleek, the aforementioned Black Rob, Busta Rhymes, the list goes on and on. The only mainstay is a good looking white kid who is adored by everyone who owns the latest Christina Aguilera album and Freddie Prinze DVD.

You don't think Nelly and 50 Cent have the same target audience? Maybe by saying "Imma bust a cap in your ass" 50 is also singing for his innercity peoples but his music, as is all music Dre has been involved with post-Doggystyle, is geared for white highschool and college kids.

Rap is not about expression anymore it's about money. That's why you'll never have another 2Pac. You'll have people with catchy beats singing about clubs, champagne, sex, and cars aka clubs, bubs, rollin on dubs & Quizno's subs ;)

As for Ja Rule I'm not saying he's good. I think he's actually the worst "rapper" out today. What I was saying was that a couple of years ago everyone was crowning him the new king. I think knighthood in rap is behind us. DMX, WuTang, Nas, Jay-Z...they've all come close and then managed to piss it all away.
