Alien Vs Predator review

So-so acting and plot,but that's what I expected.Still,alot of fun overall,the audience was quite animated-clapping and cheering.Must have been a bunch of sci-fi nerds like myself,hehheh.Both creatures were awesome,and had some pretty gory conflicts,in between wasting the human bait.Go if you enjoy sci-fi and special effects,but don't if you're expecting some awesome storyline and acting performances.Take it for what it is,pure entertainment.

I mean if you don't like a certain type of movie, no good thing about it (good in the opinion of someone who would like that type of movie) will make you give it a good review. That's why all movie reviews should be bullshit to anyone unless the person reviewing it is a clone of yourself, then it would actually mean something. Even some of the "best" movies have gotten bad reviews.

True. I remember the local rag in my town that reviews art, theater, and movies reviewing Gladiator. They said it sucked and "Better luck next time Rid" (ridley scott). Then I laughed my ass off when Gladiator cleaned up at oscar time and made a killing at the box.

This is what i want to know. Because I still haven't seen Collateral yet. But I am a big alien and predator junkie.

Collateral is in a totally different league due to the acting performances,but if you understand that going in,the AVP is a lot of fun.Like I said,the crowd in my theater really enjoyed it,they were cheering and clapping.I had a good time overall.

The humans that entered the pyramid basically WERE bait,led there to coax out the aliens so the predators could battle them.

with adequate firepower and suitable terrain, WE could kick the aliens ass... I dont' know how the predators could lose....

of course I guess ahnold did beat the predator as well, but cmon, he was AHNOLD!
