What does this have to do with "hot chicks"

Alcoholism is not a gender specific disease, there are both male and female participants at meetings. The more important issue is recognizing a problem and dealing with it. But if socializing is important to you, yes most chapters usually have a dance or some sort of social function once or twice a month....hope you like coffee....that is what is at the 'bar'.

If your drinking is a problem then check AA out. It saved my life. As for the girls they might be hot but all of them have major problems.

Many AA members take those meetings serious, so expect to hear some serious things from some people, when its their turn to talk. But even if you aren't serious about quitting (which you may be), even hearing their stories can be a great help. Its a chance for some people to talk about things related to alcohol that they may not be able to say to people they know. You may find that there are others who are doing (or WERE doing) the same as you. Hot chicks or not, AA can be an eye opener. Depending on where you are, too, expect to see people who are court ordered to go. Some may not be smoke free either, so be aware of that. And remember, AA members are always glad to see someone new come in, giving sobriety a shot.

Hot chics? Are you serious? If you are considering AA you have much bigger problems then where your next piece of tail is coming from.

I will be honest with you though. The men will most likely out number the women by 10 to 1. There is something else you need to be aware of. It is not recommended that people in AA date until they have been clean and sober for 1 year, some even longer. You MUST be very self centered and focused on yourself in order to learn how to deal with the disease. So the chics you will meet there most likely won't want to have anything to do with any relationships for a while, neither should you if you are serious about getting better.

Perhaps this thread is a mask for you to find out more about AA and what type of people are associated with it. If so I can tell you that going to AA was the best thing I ever did. The people there ALL have issues, none of them will look down on you, laugh at you, ridicule you or be little you. You will meet some of the nicest, most understanding people on the face of the earth there. Everybody is there to help.

I would recommend you examine your reasons for showing interest in AA before you make any decisions. The people there take it very seriously and going there to meet chics kind of be littles the whole thing. Respect yourself and the AA members by not wasting yours or their time. If you need help dealing with ALCOHOL or DRUG problems get involved if you looking for chics there are better places to look.

On that note I would like to wish you the best of luck with your problem and let you know that if have any questions or would like someone to talk to you can e-mail me anytime you want. It's not an easy task becoming clean, it's has it's ups and downs but know this, you can do it and you don't have to do it alone.

Good luck.

I dont drink at all, it was a life choice, no alcohol, no drugs (except AAS of course) i dont take any of the so-called party or recreational drugs most kids use today, my demon was the booze and one day i decided that i would give it up whilst it was still my own idea, lol.
