alcohol and deca

I lower my drinking to only 1-2 glasses of wine per week... I want to stay easy on my liver...but am a firm beleiver in the antioxidants in wine...
 
Okay....here is my 2 cents.

Is drinking a good thing to do on cycle NO...do I do it every now and then, yes.

Everyone knows the alcohol inhibits protein synthesis. When your on a cycle you have enough exogenous hormones in your body that you wouldn't notice the effect the alcohol has on protein synthesis. Because of this, I feel like it terms of gains and effectiveness drinking OFF cycle is more harmful.

Also if your taking an oral steroids don't drink.
 
Thanx guys. So from what i gather here, I can drink, but only occasionally. Its all about moderation. I think beer is definataly ,100% out, but a glass of wine from time to time is not going to hurt at all. It could even promote good health. By the way i couldnt be happier with my cycle. Im huge and powerfull at 252lbs. Oh and no orals here.

that could tell you THEIR stories of why it is so destructive.
 
alcohol does inhibit protein synthesis, and it is very harsh on the liver as well. So drinking while on cycle is a bad idea. That being said, drinking is a big part of alot of peoples lives and a big part of American societys culture.
when I'm off cycle I'll admit I drink to much, I don't drink at all Mon-fri but on the weekends I tend to party a little to hard at times. But while on cycle bro try to cut down as much as you can. When I'm on I'll only drink once a week and when I do its no more than afew beers.
 
thanx again. im not interested in talking to alcholics.I dont relate to that particular issue. But i am interested in what people like myself have to say. Again thanx for the info. I have decided to have a glass of chianti W/dinner. (2 Chichen breast ,brussel sprouts, whole grain rice, fresh collard greens) I feel comfortable with my decision.
 
anythin in moderation wont kill you even on cycle....if u go out once every 3 months and have a couple of drinks and pop a few painkillers or bump some coke its not goin to KILL YOU....its when u start doing it everyday and it becomes a habit is when its bad
 
I was specifically referring to alcohol, but, each to his or her own. Like you said moderation is 100% the key.Except when it comes to lifting. I cant seem to get enough, i luv it. I luv everything about it.I luv my weights. I luv my gym.Im addicted....
 
drinking was really a thing for me too. i found that its hard not drink sometimes. so your best friend is having a birthday party, wants you to get wasted with him, but you're in the middle of a cycle? im more than likely gonna get wasted. but its true that you should limit the alcohol intake to very little or none, for health reasons and otherwise.
