Alchohol, Is it worth it while under strict plans?

I like to drink a few beer's every saturday, it has never inhibited my fat loss to any real extent, but then again I have never been this hardcore without drinking. I know alchohol supposably raises the estrogen over test ratio but to what extent? And for how long? Same question about the lowering of the metabolism. Any pro's and con's on drinking would be appreciated. I really enjoy having a few beers on saturdays but if it's going to hold me back from my full potential then the hell with it.

What are you talking about? this post isen't promoting alchohol as a fat loss tool. :confused:
 
This is a great post, I have a lot of these same questions. Im a junior in college and while everyone is hammering away in 30-racks im drinking avion and eating chicken. It would be nice to have a drink or two on the weekends but im dieting hard (Keto) will the occasional beer or cocktail have hinder my attemps to get lean and mean??
 
I think Alcohol is one of the most overrated products. I only drink once or twice a year. The problem is going to clubs and bars and hooking up with chicks. You almost need to drink in those situation otherwise you feel an outside.

But the veterans tell me that if you're on a good amount of any AS cycle. Don't even think of touching alcohol cause it seriously screws up your metabolism. I'd rather stay away from it if i was you.
 
Alchohol is overrated, like marijuana and any other 'illicit' drug out there that the government would like to shield you from. However it's great for really relaxing and socializing, saturday is when a bunch of friends come over and we just drink away the remnants of the week. It's kind of a special thing we have :)
