Albums you're looking forward to?

• Byzantine's new one came out yesterday. Gotta grab that one.
• Opeth and Chimaira dropping new ones in August.
• I forget when, but Nevermore has a new one soon, too. Might even be out already. Been hearing great things about it.
• God Forbid is saying good things about theirs, too.
• Ill Niño has a new one soon, too. Not really looking forward to it, as i disliked the last one, but I thought the first record was pretty good for a nü metal act. So I might give it a chance if i hear some of it.

Been wanting to check out discs from a couple bands, too, that I've been able to sample. Some new, some not so new:
• Deathlock
• Hell Within
• Winter Solstice
• Despised Icon

Miasma! Good call. I liked the track I heard off that.
I sampled the Despised Icon one day in Tower. I thought it was pretty good.

Just remembered Fear Factory's dropping a new on next month as well.

I got a promo copy that I'm supposed to review but it has advertising sound bites all the way through it, haha. Century Media is getting wise!

I've heard the new Obituary too. It's not as strong as Back From The Dead but it's not bad.
