guest username High End Bro Platinum May 23, 2008 #4 I fly enough that I'm a platinum elite member on 2 major airlines, so the fees don't apply to me thankfully. Last year I flew 225,000 miles. (NOT BY CHOICE) It helps to get free upgrades on domestic segments though. The government sure isn't paying for me to fly first class!

I think people will adjust, however this is the first week - I was happy I made my connector, but I bet some people had challenges.
