my friends mother has been suffering from aids(hiv) and the doctor ahs recommended the medicine copegus for her
somehow i feel is copegus really consumed for aids
can someone provide me more information on copegus?

i dont know about aids/hiv but i do know that it is also used for heb C...i dont see how it could be used for aids when it says not to use if you are anemic and such...they also moniter your blood counts while on it because it can mess them up so why risk giving an aids patient this med while it can cause there red and white blood counts to be worse?

Jai Hind. I am sorry I don't know much about the drug that you speak up. However, be careful my friend, India has a very HIGH amount of HIV/AIDS victims.

I have never heard of the drug here in the United States....especially for the treatment of HIV.....Is she not doing well on this drug? If I were you I would do some research on the web about the drug and it's use with HIV.

well cant say whether copegus is really used for that i think it is used for hepatitis B

good link tiadesai. I am surprised you guys think this drug is an odd diagnosis for Aids. I don't really think some of you have a clear idea of what aids is. It fucks your immune system. DAAAA. U are prone to many kinds of typical diseases, anywhere from eye diseases to liver diseases, suffering from aids.

Apparently it is you that has no idea about what AIDS is...Aquired Immune Definciency Syndrom. The above mentioned drug is not perscribed as treatment for HIV infection. It can be pescribed as treatment for other types of infection or illness, but not to combat the HIV virus. Do you know the differnce between HIV and AIDS ?
Believe me when I tell you I Do KNOW what AIDS is...I was full blown when I was diagnosed over 13 years ago. I have had so many different illnesses. All of which were treated with many different medication. None of them were treated with the medication I take for the HIV infection.
