Actually, I did. Over the course of 3 days, I spent $210 buying casino chips... came home with $236 in my wallet (damn, I hate carrying cash), so I won $26 overall. I was actually up to $450 (yielding me a net gain of $240) on Thursday morning, but I got careless.

Definately a good time. I plan to do some studying on casino games and giving it another try one of these days. There is this place called "Miccosukee Indian Gaming" where one can gamble in my area. Only like 10 miles or so away. Maybe this time after some good reading, I can double my paycheck every few weeks or something.

Yes. When I am a grandmaster gambler and have won enough money to retire before my predetermined retirement date, I'll start giving a percentage of my future winnings to those who need it more.

Thats more of a statement then a FAQ. Jk. How old did you have to be to gamble? The cruise I go on next week has the gambling age at 18, I'm 17.....Time for the novelty identification card to come into play.

Warik will be in Gamblers Annonymous within a year. He got a little taste and he's hooked. Focus on blackjack, best odds in the house. Memorize a system and you can reduce the casino's edge. Always bet larger when you're on a streak/run. Bet normal when it ends untill the next run. Either that or play against the public at a poker table. Just make sure you watch out for the sharks. Slots generate 60% of the house's profit, stay away from them unless you like wasting money.

Legal age on the ship was 18. I was only "carded" when I tried to buy chips using my Sail & Sign card (special card they give you on the ship that is linked to your credit card), and they only asked for ID because it was required. I bought chips the first night in cash with no identification necessary. Just look over 18 and you shouldn't have any problems.

What games did you play at the casino?

I only played Roulette. I stood around watching people play blackjack... didn't like how the game was going. Watched craps for a few minutes and decided that if I were going to take the time to learn such a complicated game, I'd be better off spending that time working so I could earn more money with which to play Roulette.

I like Roulette. It's fun. The dealer is in control of the cards in blackjack/poker... I don't like that. I'd rather have the dealer spin the ball and leave the rest of up to physics. Besides... betting on red or black gives me a 47.37% chance of doubling my money.

I still have much more to learn about the game. Trying to find some Roulette strategy links, but all I find are: "Win $850 a day GUARANTEED with my strategy book!" I did find a link to an online casino, though. Now I won't have to drive 10 miles to the only legal place to gamble in my area.
