I looked everywhere. Finally broke down and went to a walk in clinic, paid 20 bucks, and had a doctor sign the referral to minoxidil.com. It was as simple as that.

Finely crush 600mg of pills and mix with 20cc of cream. This makes a 3% spiro mix and works great. You can heat it up in the micro for a few seconds to make it more liquid like prior to application on the scalp. I like to dab the fingers and apply it to the recceding areas then wet the fingers a little and rub it into the base of the hairs.

The stuff NEVER smells like the spiro you can get in the alcohol base. It does have a slight nice perpermint smell from the spiro.

The mix does not give a wet look to the hair at all. It is kind of like "moose"

Sprio is a great and proven anti androgen that blocks not only DHT but all androgens at the scalp.

I've have bought the tabs from both www.dru-online.com and www.1drugstore-online.com and have used both ethanol (actually everclear, which I don't recommend) and Dermovan to turn them into a topical. I like having hair.

Well I have talked with many about this and believe it or not most hair loss guru's like the spiro better. The azelaic acid just doesn't have the studies to back it up, although there is some evidence that it works. Azelaic acid is really pushed by Dr. Lee but I think money has a lot to do with it.
Spiro is 100%proven and very effective. It has been used with good results for over 25 years.

if i understood it correctly, azelaic acid inhibits DHT only, working topically to inhibit 5ar. so spiro would be better since it blocks all androgens.
