"against god's will"

I never understood the saying "it's against God's will". How can anyone do something that is against Gods will? Thats saying we are more powerful than God.

I think it just means that it is against god's intentions. Incorrect English. Not that I believe in 'God'...

It is supposed to mean against Gods intents (whatever those are) but usually means against convention or the status quo.

In this saying, will i implies ntention.

God IS good. Those things which work contrary to "good" are against God's will.

Of course the truth and implications of this will never be ageed upon. Never, that is, untill "the end."
