Ag-guys accutane

I have heard that the dosage is somewhat weight-dependent, but an average dose is 40mg/day. I've heard guys that have done 20mg/day with good results, but others have taken up to 80mg/day (or possibly more) to achieve the goals their looking for. Be careful with it though, it will dry out your skin, especially your lips. I would start out at 20mg/day for a month and go from there. Hope this helps!

wow, ive ordered from AG-Guys before, and didnt know they even had that. Im definitely gonna have to check it out for use when im on.

I haven't checked them in awhile either, didn't know they had that. I haven't tried accutane yet, but what seems interesting about it is that if used for a long period, 6 months, a year, so forth, my understanding is that some of the shrinking of sebaceous glands remains permanent.

start out at 50mgs a day (ag doses it at 50mgs per 1ml) and in a week you'll start drying out. just stay at that level until your skin starts drying out, lips and eyes, and then back off 2 50mgs e0d or e2ds at 25mgs or 50mgs depending on your acne. If your or once your acne clears up, then spread it out like i said e0d etc. Accutane stays in your system for over a month after you stop taking it. love the stuff!

havent tried AG-GUYS accutane, but accutane was by far one of the best investments Ive EVER made!

when I was prescribed accutane it went like this:
Month 1: 40mg per day
Month 2-5: 80mg per day
Month 1: 40mg per day
Month 2-5: 80mg per day

the routine described by ua_iron and myself is supposedly enough to keep acne from coming back in a normal person. some people have been known to have to do 2-3 cycles of accutane. only recommended to do this once per year. i have heard of people using accutane before cycles and then cycling with no acne but i can't guarantee this will be the same for everyone.

some people get some nasty sides from accutane
and its usually during the later runs of the drug - blurred vision etc.

I've been on accutane 3 times and 3 different brands taking it while i was on and off. Worked like a charm while i was on then stopped 2 months later while i was on i broke out. Seems to work up to a couple months after stopped taking it. Anyway depending on your weight.. Which i weigh 180 and i was started out by the derm at 20 mgs a day 2 months later it was increased to 40. I'd start between 20-40 mgs a day and give it time to kick in. I've been all the way up to 80 mgs a day with no sides at all other then slightly elevated ALT and cholestrol being 20-30 points high. Of course everyone is different but if you do take it drink lots of water cause i can cause dry eyes,severe dry/cracked lips. Invest is carmex to combat the dry lips. Other than that its the only med. that has controlled my acne. Hope that helps some of ya!

It is toxic to the liver especially over doses of 120 a day, that's why you get your liver checked monthly. For the most part, i'ts pretty safe at 40mg - 80mgs a day for 6 months.
If you start running it , you'll clear up for the most part in a month. You'll still see acne scars and minor breakouts, but after the 2nd month for me, no more zits. To this day, I still don't break out hardly at all.. I think I might have had less than 5 zits over the past 9 months..

8 weeks into test I'd already have some conspicuous acne. I've never used accutane, but if considering a future test cycle, I'd imagine starting the accutane a short matter of weeks before beginning the cycle. A while back I remember that there was quite a strong idea that taking a specific dose for just a short time before the start of the cycle would eliminate acne during the cycle.
I’ve not been around in some time. Glad to see a good range of experiences shared in this thread.
Oh, and if I’m using it during a cycle ANY possibility I could still tan? What about if I use it shortly before a cycle?

liquid accutane should be cheaper than it is.
I've seen isotretinoin powder for cheaper than a gallon of gas per gram.

I began taking accutane after I did a test E cycle and PCT and broke out really bad on my back and shoulders, I started at 20mg a day for the first week and then bumped it up to 40mg. Even after the first week of taking it i began noticing improvement. I kept the dosage at 40mg somewhere into my second month than reduced the dosage down to 20mg ED once I began my next cycle which consisted of:
Sust 500mg 1-10
Prop 150mgEOD 11-12
EQ 600mg 1-12
Tren Ace 75mg ED 1-6
Winny inject 50mg ED 7-12
Aromasin 20mg E3d
PCT is HCG, Clomid and Aromasin
By the beginning of this cycle my acne on my back and shoulders was completely gone, just a little scarring left over which tanning took care of. Ive now been on 20mg ed accutane for 3 more months and not once did I get a zit on my back or shoulders throughout this entire cycle.
I would not run any orals at all with the use of accutane, but tanning seems to be ok when using a low dose, and at 20mg I dont really have to use chap stick, although I am pretty much addicted to it after the first couple months of using it all the time. As for the blurred vision, at 40mg ED I did notice this slightly and when i took it down to 20 it went away.
Im using Roche 20mg, I would start at 20 or 40mg for a few weeks and see how the sides affect you, then you can go up slightly from there....this also depends on how bad your acne is to begin with.

You do tan while on 20 mg ed?
Did you notice any effect on hair? I've heard of shedding hair while on accutane due to drying.

Yea Ive been tanning on 20mg with no probs at all, and no i havent noticed any hair loss.

Aquafore is probably the best thing out there for your lips. It's a thick clear ointment like something from a lip protectant bottle like karmex, just put it on your lips every hour and before you go to bed to keep your lips from drying out extensively. Of course, the three I mentioned above will probably be used if you're on higher dosages than 50mgs a day for 6 months. A 6 month cycle at 80mgs will permantly clear up your adult acne, while dosing 20mgs a day during cycle will keep you clear of acne..
