This winter was the first bulk I have done. I went from 135-175 in about 6 months. I gained about 15 lbs of fat during this time. Gaining such extreme weight without doing cardio( or anything really ) has proven to have left my joints/calves behind a tad ( I did my first 30 minutes of low intensity on the treadmill on monday and my calves were on fire[ my joints are stronger already and the lactic acid build up is leaving fast ]). I am starting 5x5 next week, as well as cutting carbs and doing low intensity cardio 3x a week (getting a nicer-to-look-at body for summer). My question is, can I still gain muscle at the same rate as I did before, or will these changes hinder muscle growth?
(Ps. I named this Hibernation because I did fuck all but eat and lift heavy weight the whole winter).

Alright I'm really getting sick of your posts. Please explain how this pertains at all to "Weight training and Weight lifting" and why anyone else should read the pointless crap you litter the board with. Also, seeing your current pics, and your last pics that you insist on posting everywhere....keep bulking.

No for most of people. If you are gona run a neg. cal. you cant make the same kinda gains. But you are still young and not near maxed out so who knows. By the way that is a "cool" picyou got there ahhahaha

Exactly. Stop posting useless crap here, you're not important enough to make a new thread every fucking day.

If you want to post all this shit make one thread and post it all in there, stop spamming the boards!

You are bringing this board down. Go read the fucking baord and get the answers for yourself isntead of spamming the board every day.

Go to BB.com and post the useless shit there.

looking at your pics, your rate of *muscle gain* can be maintained no matter what you do - starve or drink fat... no difference

Hibernation? I've never seen anything about bears that eat or lift while they're hibernating. Usually they just sleep. The do hibernate in the winter though, so i guess you got something right!
