the only thing in my life im afraid of is suffering.........I mean, look at it this way (this is the way i see it) What if you found out you had cancer, and you had to go through radiation, and kimo....ect ect....Ive seen what this kind of treatment does to people it nearly kills them , and somtimes does, it makes me sick just thinking about it. If i ever got cancer i would let it kill me......I couldnt bare to waste away just to cure it when half the time it doesnt work.

I feel that way, too. I'm not afraid of death, never have been, what I'm afraid of is suffering.

To me, loneliness is the worst way to suffer. I could weather any amount of physical pain as long as I had friends to comfort and support me.

Life to me isnt suffering if im well!!!!!! I know when i turn 80 (if i live to be that old) that may day is near. But to think about suffering, and to know that your loves ones have to watch you suffer is disheartning,

I disagree Rio. For a grown adult human... maybe. But not for the majority of Earth's inhabitants.

I would say "suffering can be relieved", but not that it is optional. After all, who would choose that option?

If you have enough faith, you will feel the pain but won´t suffer.It´s not always about physical pain, though. It´s quite semanthics...
