I just pulled a muscle in my back kickboxing. I am just about to press 315 and now i am injured.
should I;
stop my cycle of test, deca, win, hgh
contiue to lift but very light weights just going through the motions
stop all and lay of for two weeks as the doctor suggested.
I am now on naprosyn, mobic, and muscle relaxer
thanks guys not sure how to handle it. I am 50 and I may never get to three plates on the bench again.

if you were 25 years younger i would tell you to work through it and just take it easy on the pulled muscle. however at 50 years of age recovery from any injury is longer and more difficult as i'm sure you can atest to. how far along into your cycle are you and what do you have for post cycle therapy?

IMO, I would keep up the cycle, and take at least a week off. A week off will do wonders, then work on other muscle groups that most people ususally dont concentrate on like calves, forearms, etc. pretty much anything that doesnt bother your back. If you ease back in to it the cycle might help your back and as long as you dont overdo it. PS, dont worry about the 315, it will come sooner or later as long as you are healthy. Getting healthy should be your main concern right now. Listen to your body, it will tell you when it's ready.

i agree with stock. only you really know what your body is capable of. if it is just a pulled muscle and it's not torn it really shouldn't take that long to heal especially with the help your cycle will give with muscle growth and repair. however, i am not a doctor. keep in mind that any advice that you get here is mainly just one person telling you what they would do in your situation, and not real medical advice. i'm sure if your doctor new you were on a cycle he would have given you different advice.

i really dont see any reason in stoping the cycle unless you just want to save gear, but the reason i say not to stop is because the gear can only assist in the healing processes of the body. in my eyes, taking a week or more from the gym, but keeping on your cycle, should do wonders. im actually in your situation right now also i just herniated a disk in my back doing heavy deadlifts but im still on my gear. i can say, the week ive been out of the gym but still juicen, i got to say i feel a lot better. not fully up to par better. you will no what to do, just figure it out

went to the gym today iced it down and loaded up on anti inflamatory and relaxer doc gave me did same routine with lighter weights and felt pretty good. I am staying on the current cycle as at 50, I am on a continuous hrt program. I did 45 min of aerobic. thanks for the advice guys

if you can lift 100% then you should stop cycle and begin PCT.

I warm up with 315. I'm 51. I would continue. You will heal up faster ON gear vs. OFF.

When you work that particular group of back muscles simply go lighter.

If it REALLY hurts then take a few days off. No need to stop cycle.

Why kick people at age 50?..Buy a gun and just fucking shoot'em. :lmao:

Stay with it, just warm up very well, stretch before and after working out...go lighter and take it easy...
