Just in case any of you get a new car soon. Do not ever fucking get a Chevy Malibu! They are a complete piece of shit. I paid 8g's for a 99. I haven't even had it for a year and have already put 4g's in for fixing the shit, and it only has like 62,000 miles on it. After I got it I found out that Malibu's have been having transmission problems and all kinds of shit. So if you ever look at a fucking Malibu. Piss on it and walk away.

My dad used to always have American cars because they were easier to get parts for if you are going to fix it yourself.
Then he went back to foreign cars once he got sick of constantly working on them.

But then, as everyone knows, I'm a total snaab.
I just personally can't stand the way the american cars feel when driving them - then again, I've never driven a Vette nor a Viper

'89 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z - 65,000 miles

ALL very dependable and run strong!... all my other friends who own fords/mopars and imports are having problems... and I just laugh (then try to help fix their NON-GM garbage)

I think you just got unlucky. It happens.... there are lemons from every manufacturer

I had a 94 Galant. 168k and the only thing I had to replace was the water pump. I drove the fuck out of it. I've never had trouble with foreign cars, but lots of shit with American cars.
