Advice/Thoughts

Hey guys, im just about 20 yrs old 6'5" about 215. Ive played basketball for the last 6 years, and play college ball now. Well im here because i seem to never be able to lose my belly fat/chest fat, when i was younger (around 10) i went to the doctors for a lump/enlarged gland under my nipple, now it seems they are still like that, both of em now. My stomache is the other issue, i was a fat little kid (wore husky size pants lol), and now i seem to never be able to lose the fat, or is it extra skin. The rest of my body is slim, and seemingly fat free, or rather low in fat. Im definatly in shape, play basketball 3 or more times a week, intensely, played for 3 hours almost straight yesterday. I also lift everyother day. I have ranged from 180 to 215 and my chest and stomach seem to change VERY little. Advice or thoughts guys??

I have the same problem. The more muscle you put on the less fat you'll have. Eat a diet that is high carbs and protein and low in fat (40%-40%-20%). So if you weight 200 lbs that's 200g carbs, 200g protein, and 40g fat. Increase your weight every week and focus on compound movements (bench, deadlifts, squats, pull ups, dips, military or incline press). You will lose fat, trust me. Add some AM cardio if you want. Like 3 sessions a week for 30-40 mins. And IF this ALL fail try varying you carb in take. On lift days up your carbs and then lower them by half and then half again the next day so on. Your body will get use to what your doing so sometimes you have to trick it. You can also consider thermogenics with green tea in it. But thats last resort.

Yea no matter how hard you may train, u may find that getting that rock hard 6 pack may not be genetically possible. Some people just carry alot of fat in the midsection (myself included).

There is one quick easy solution...Save up and get some Liposuction
For me, I do abs and hit them hard and also do a good cardio routine but I have had love-handles since I was like 2 years old. I told my wife I am gonna start saving $50 a month and by next year, I will get lipo'd....

i definatly feel that i will never get abs, i can feel them under the fat, their real defined and acctualy big. Im in great shape, i have to be to play at a collegiate level basketball. What about the chest, its not soo much fat, as it is the glands, i think im going to ask my doc about surgery, becasue the glands are large and lumpy sort of, def not fat. Would this actually help with the belly fat by lowering estrogen levels??? Genetics SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
