Advice Needed

First off here are my stats, male, 39, 5’8”, 180lbs, approx. 19% bf. Here’s where I am at. I was wounded in 2007 and laid up for about 4 years. I just got back into the gym seriously about a year ago. I’m looking for strength gains and to lose some fat. I eat a fairly clean paleo diet. My body used to respond well to strength training, but after being laid up and older not so much. I’m currently at about 365lb deadlift, 245 squat, 205 bench. I had my T levels checked at the VA, offhand I think my total was about 360. My doc seemed very uninterested in upping the T levels of a combat vet. Currently I am deployed in Kuwait and have easy access to gear, not so sure on what I can get for PCT. Downside is I don’t have access to gym on the bases here, in my apartment I have a good mix of kettlebells/dumbells up to 75lbs and my routine right now is a heavy kettlebell routine working with what I have. I can also go to a local gym but they are pricey, about $100/month. I am considering a first cycle of test, 500mg/week for 8 weeks and see how my body reacts and deal with my T levels when I get home. Should I try and get my body fat down first? I am still reading a lot on PCT, and not sure what I can get here, or what can be sent through the mail (APO). Thanks in advance.

Hey bro just wanna say a big THANKS for you sacrifice!
If it were me I would def get that bf down. With what you have for wieghts you can set youself of a dam nice conditioning program and IMO thats exactly what you should do.
If you wanna you could go on a self prescribed TRT program and that would prolly not be a bad thing for you.
I would run between 150-200 mg of test per week and see how you do on that.
Did you by chance get your cortisol and estro checked at the time you did that blood test?
I would bet they are high.

Ok so to sum this up. Get yourself set up on a good conditioning program with what you have at your house.
If you wanna then do self prescribed HRT.
Get bloods when you can to include free test, cortisol and estro.
Continue on your diet and workout 3-4 days per week.
Continue posting and best of luck to you bro.

hey bro... a few things... you need to get your body fat down first at least to the 15% range... you also need to develop a strong workout routine for some time... you need to have your diet and training in check before you even consider running anything... a proper pct would consist of clomid, the unleashed/post cycle combo and forma stanzol... daa powerchews are also a nice addition... you need to find out if you can get these as well because if you can't run a proper pct then you cannot run a cycle...

Thanks for the advice. I figured I need to get my bodyfat down some. I just taped it as I didn't have calipers, so it's probably a little off. I've been running a crossfit routine for the past year, with more emphasis on strength training and kettlebell workouts. I feel like I have my diet pretty much dialed in, just am not loosing like I used too. I definitly feel like I need to get my bloodwork checked again when I get home. After I got hit I was on morphine for almost 4 years and i'm sure that didn't help. I still have another 4 months here and want to make the best of it.
