Advice for gas problems...

Heres some of my advice. I'm no professional but I can say its helped clear my flatulance problem completely...

1. Spend more time chewing your food. Chew about 30-40 times or until the food is liquified.
2. A meal usually takes 20 minutes or more to eat, not 5!
3. Drink your shakes more slowely. Sip on them and give the body time.
4. Drink water/beverages/shakes 1/2hr before meals and 1hr after.
5. Cook food untill well done. Semi-cooked pasta, oatmeal, rice, etc.. that are not digested get dumped into the intestines and ferment. This may slightly increase the G.I. rating but its far better because the food actually absorbs! And thats the whole purpose isn't it!?!
6. Eat foods with more fibre to help digestion. Like brown rice, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, spinach. Sounds like it does'nt work but it does. It'll keep you regular and thats half the battle.
7. Don't eat fruit with meals. It promotes premature digestion and/or fermentation. Eat inbettween.
8. Don't chew gum. The flavour will get the digestive juices going and put unnessary strain on your body.
9. If you really have a problem then you can try boiling/steaming all vegetables. I know this decreases nutritional value but it will help your body to more readily absorb whats there.

my advice: let em loose... preferrably on your girlfriend.

dutch oven roflmao

my roomate would eat chili dogs, DAM !!! he fuckin destroyed the room, windows would have to open, and door have to open.

I have chili, vegetables, beans, lots of fibre(30-40+gr/day) etc.. all the time and don't get much gas at all. Not drinking water with meals or having soup (I forgot to add that one..) is probily the main reason. I think why the fibre can help so much is that it reduces your transit-time (the time it takes food to go through your body and exit.) You then get a smooth delivery without the clogging which cause's the crap to be in there too long and putrify. Then when you have to go and can't you fart like crazy. Don't let anyone say fibre will cause you gas. In my opinion it will only help you if eaten correctly. Also another one I forgot to add is when you just wakeup have two cups of water if you can. This will hydrate you and help empty the bowels...

It’s something no one ever talks about, but it’s one of the most common digestive problems that people experience. It’s called intestinal gas and it happens to everyone.:qt: Some of the following strategies are suggested for people who want to reduce intestinal gas:

*
Cut down on certain foods. The foods that cause problems are usually those high in fiber or carbohydrates, which are hard to digest.
*
Drink plenty of water, non-carbonated liquids and clear soup, but avoid soda and beer. If you do drink a beverage like beer, pour it in a glass first to let some of the fizz out.
*
Reduce the amount of air you swallow. You can do this by eating more slowly and chewing more, avoiding chewing gum and hard candy, and not smoking.

I found a website that can help you with your query, Fresno Doctors.

The worst is when the flatulence hits in indoor sports.

FOr whatever reason, HIIT cardio really makes me fart.

I have literally gassed to death opponents on a squash court lol
