Well, guys, I had an opportunity to sample the vanilla a while back, and I have to say, it was pretty damn good. It did not have the SUPER-sweet taste the old vanilla did, but at this point that's a good thing. It did have a nice, vanilla taste to it, though. I was impressed. If they can truly keep the carbs in the <20g range, and consistently get the protein up to >58g, then I think we have what we originally were all looking for.

I know that the new owner has a completely new manufacturer. I'm hoping that this one does better. I had resolved a while back to never buy an MQ product again, but after speaking with them, I'm willing to give it another shot.

I'll be sampling the chocolate very soon. I also have to look into getting a random batch tested independently (there will be a few of us working on this). I'll let you all know what I think, but so far, so good. I recommend you might just try it again.

is it cross flow microfiltrated whey or whey concentrate.....ingredient label says whey concentrate....yet the description says CFM whey......but CFM whey is isolate so it can't be both.....

and judging from the way the ingredients are listed.....looks like a hell of alot of whey concentrate....since maltodextrin is next in line, the milk and egg combined have to make up less than 24 g, well actually less than that because some of the carbs would be sugars from the protein.... (due to FDA labeling guidelines....order must be the order of highest amount to lowest)......

Having tried it I have to take issue with your "best tasting" claim. While it tasted no worse than comparable powders it tasted no better either (In my opinion).

What tasted great was the carb loaded, mis-labeled crap that I killed 6 buckets of.

Chris, I liked the vanilla sampler I got. I just got my chocolate the other day, and I have to say, it has a very interesting taste. It's not bad, but it isn't all the rave the old sugarfest TT3/60 was. I do like the taste, primarily because it's different and has an interesting aftertaste like no other MRP or protein powder I've used before. I do like variety.

I have to say, though, if you stack yourself up pound-for-pound against Labrada Lean Body Chocolate Peanutbutter, it tastes better than Adv Form. TT3/60, and is price-competetive/comparable.

I think I might try a tub of the AF TT3/60 Vanilla, but I'm not going to do that until I've finished most of this chocolate, and that'll be a while only doing one serving of it a day at most (as I said, I like variety and use a LOT of different products).

Just tried the new triple threat. Not as good as the old stuff. I've got the chocolate favored. It has a methanol after taste to it. I'm not saying I won't keep taking it but I just feel the old taste was better.

Since I'm bitchin', I like'd the old "bucket" thing ya'll had going before you changed it.

I sure missed the people over here. It's funny, as I skim through other message boards, I see my name being mentioned from my time over here at EF. Must have made a name for myself huh? lol

Oh...and that PF, those prices and quality just can't be beat. Other protein shakes just give me the shits. So I like it because I decide what I want. At just over $8 per pound of protein, it can't be beat. Others may say their protein costs the same...well figure in 4lbs of straight protein and that goes a long way! I bought 10lbs for $80 and it took forever to use up at 200gms of protein a day. For people that don't know, that's 240cc's spread through-out the day! I think it would cost 4 x's that of any other protein powder in the CFM catagory! Ok, so it doesn't taste as good as others even though they put Splenda and flavor in it for free, but...... I use it for function, not for taste, besides, even if it tasted good, I put 2 TBS of Flaxseed oil in it and that kills good taste anyway.

I get straight CFM with a flavor and Splenda. I don't spend any money on the carbs as it seems cheaper to get egg bagels.

Yeah, some people didn't agree with me over here and it was mostly the political side of things. But I can't help it since I love poli sci. I think it basically came down to.. I won't kiss anybody's ass or massage their egoes. lol That tends to piss some off. But for the most part.... all you bros are awesome and glad to have ever talked to you's on the board.

At this time, I had gotten over a training injury with the Special Forces Guard. Then as I was starting to peak, I got in a car accident and should have died, but I'm still here. I broke my leg in two places (femor and fibula), that was back in the middle of July and should be able to walk again in a couple of weeks. I'll be starting back up on my juice this week on some of the stuff I have, but I'm having at this time to look around on the Meso board for a supplier as mine is out of the business now. I'm sure it should all work out some how though.
