grapeseed oil has the lowest viscosity (it is the least thick) out of all of the oils so I recommend that.
Also, heating the vial in warm water (do not submerge it) just fill up a coffee cup with hot water and place the vial in it for a few minutes (make sure the top of the vial is above the water). Also, placing the vial in a heating pad is good (it takes longer to warm). Warm gear disperses in the body quicker and mitigates the pain.
I always filter my gear/oil no matter what. What I would do is mix the oil and gear together and refilter it into a new clean, sterile vial. I do not know the manufacturer of your oil but just because it says it is sterile doesn't mean it has been filtered (I assume it has). Filtering helps remove any foreign debris that is in oil. I take ZERO risk when it comes to injecting something in my body. I have read horror stories about abscesses and I would rather take the added precautions than risk an abscess.
