Addiction

Hey guys, i had a small debate the other day with a friend of mine about AS and addiction. To my knowledge, there is no evidence that you can get an addiction to AS, but after my conversation the other day im begining to wonder. His argument was that you could get a mental addiction not a physical one. I suppose it matters on the person in particular, but i know alot of people on AS, young and old, theyre all still on and dont think theyve even thought of coming off for good. What do you guys think? Am i worrying about nothing, or should we all keep this in mind??

I believe there can be a mental addiction to the drugs like in any drug. I think we all understand that or hope we understand that before considering cycling. Except we are not going to go to any lengths to get our "fix" ...Think of it this way...if your broke..and all you have is money to buy food and survive...do you think your AAS addiction is going to make you go out and buy some...NO....so there is a rational point to it...you may think about cycling...want to cycle...but your just not going to go buy sust amps over a cheeseburger if that is what it boils down too..

I fell in to this addiction a few years back. Everytime I would come off, I would get depressed and feel like I was built like a 10 year old girl. In all reality, I was still 245lbs at 5'7 at 18%bf.
This caused my off times to become shorter and shorter. At one point, I considered being off, just using EQ for 8 weeks.
I believe they say it's a psychological addiction and it's very real!
I eventually broke myself of this way of thinking and can now handle off periods with no problem.

I think i was addicted myself actually, all i could think of was training and how much gear i could do, it actually began to controll my life in a bad way. I just hope everyone is aware and able to take a responsible approach to using AS, for their own good.

Addiction is 100% mental. At times I wonder if I would be able to handle coming off altogether. Breaks in between cycling get easier and easier once you learn the basics of PCT. A good PCt allows you to keep gains without feeling the need to jump back on. Anyway, if I get to the point where I feel that I need to be on something constantly, I will turn to HGH because it will have the least side effects.
