active marines, what's your average day like?

Airwing is:
A avation base. With helo's and fixed wing aircraft. Technical training. Less bullshit. Less PT bullshit. Less uniform inspections. Most MOS have a faster promotion rate though for airwing its just a pay raise and very little increase in respect. You'll still play some games and deploy alot but you'll have better living conditions.
Your better trained and you are needed to work. The ground pounders are just a number and it doesn't hurt to break them in half on a 15 mile hump, cause they don't have a real job.

The ground pounders is the exact opposite of the above. Alot of bullshit. Alot of games. Alot of feild time. Living condition are below that of POW while in the field.

Remember that some MOS's are both airwing and ground. Like admin can be both. But If you pick an MOS that ONLY FOR AIRCRAFT then your going to be airwing.

ATC is air traffic control. Should be able to get an enlistment bonus then if you stay in you get a reenlistment bonus( free money ). Most MOS's don't offer reenlistment bonus's. Plus civilian jobs pay great hince the need to bribe people to stay in.
But you can't get just ATC as a set in stone MOS. You'll have to sign up for a list of Avation MOS. It's mostly luck at to if you get ATC. And if you fail the school you lose the enlistment money. But you'll stay in the avation feild because you'll be going to school at NAS pensacola Fla ( great place to be a Marine- nice airforce pussy- and big gym.

nope... i don't put with that bullshit no more... thank god. the worst part is i to do that crap and i wasn't even a damn marine.

and these guys are right, if you get with the wing or with group it's ten times better than being with a division.

honestly.. if you can.. join the air force. they have the best of everything and that is no bullshit. talk to frorider too, as i'm pretty sure he just recently got out of the air force..

lol i think not bro, I worked alongside 22 and 14 int. and believe me bullshit does baffle brains, they still do area cleaning in the morning and they still have parades.

I've been a U.S. Marine. Now im in the U.S. Army.
I have worked extensively with the Airforce and the U.S. Navy. Let me tell you all some thing. Listen up close. It doesnt matter which branch you join. The point is serving your country.
Most days you really dont do all that much. Some days it is non-stop. It seems like a lot of bullshit. Its not. Everything you do there has a purpose if you see what it is or not. All the services have games. All the services like to play games. It just depends on who your with and your MOS. Ive been a 0311,3531,3533 and now im an 88mike. Pro's and Con's in both. It all is a sham job (skate). However if you want to serve and do good then just pick one. Here they are listed in my opinion:Air Force is a cake walk, Army doesnt know its head from a hole in the ground, Navy has bullshit about being on ships for 6 months. on your day off where are you gonna go to relax in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean? Marines move fast and with a purpose and if it takes games to keep it that way then so be it. I love the Marine Corps and hope to go back to it when im done in the Army. Here is my avarage day in the Marines and the ARMY

MARINES:
0545-0730 P.T.
0730-0900 Hygine
0900-0915 Formation
0915-0925 Bullsh*t for 10min
0925-1100 Work
1100-1115 Clean up
1130-1300 Formation then Lunch
1300-1600 Work (Some bullsh*tting)
1600-1615 Clean up
1615-1630(1700) Formation ,Word passed for next day and then go home.

ARMY:
0630-0720 P.T.
0900-0920 Formation
0930-1100 Work (with a lot of bullsh*tting)
1100-1130 Clean up
1300-1600 Work (with a lot of bullsh*tting)
1600-1630 Clean up, Formation, Word, Go Home

As you can see they are pretty similar. If you want more bullshitting then join the AirForce.

1000: Officers meeting with the CO ( staffs from RMC, CFC and NDHQ ) ( enlisted men, depend on week schedule )
1030: Sit rep
1200: miam miam
1300: Training, depending on schedule day ( range, cbq, )
1500: training #2 - - - - -
1700: end
1715: meeting officers and sr NCO
1800: fuck im off

i dont know the army times but here is me.....what i do during that day......

9am---wake up and look at the time and go back to sleep

9:30am---wake back up look at the time and say 5 more mins of sleep

10am---wake up and say that was a good 5mins of sleep...

10:20 eat...then sleep

10:40---wake up and look out the window

10:59---still looking out the window

11:00 get away from the window and eat some snacks...

11:30----look at the tv.....

11:45---get up and walk outside

11:47---walk backin the house and sit down

12---eat

12:30--sleep

1:30...get up and look out the window.....

and so on...
