Acne Scar Treatment

Ive had cystic acne on my upper back in November of 2008. Im positive it was EQ that did it. Anyways, i took accutane and it stopped the acne but the cystic acne left scars across my upper back. Now, 1 year later, the scars are still very visible. my dermatologist gave me a few keloid injections to flatten them out, and it did, but it doesnt make the scars fade. I was wondering what type of treatment i can get to make them fade away. I do have insurance so if insurance covers it, then thats even better, if not, i really dont have a choice cuz i would like to hit the beach this year without being embarrased about my back.

Thanks

I cant give you any advice cause I dont know much about this, but let me know if you find something that works. Im running accutane also and Im sure I'll have a few scars left over

Chemical peels work pretty darn good. I would go to dermatologist that does special skincare and have it done.

Thank you Radar and Phoenix. I was looking into chemical peels and microdermabrasion, but what are the differences between the two?

Also, is the "zenmed"microdermabrasion kit the same as the one they use at the dermatology place? or is the one that they have stronger?

Phoenix, there are a few different types of chemical peels, from mild ones to strong ones that need anesthesia. which one did you choose and what were the cost of it?

I have done ones not surgical. They just go in and as you get used to it each session they use a more powerful solution on you. It costs about $100-$120 per session. You should notice a pretty good difference with going at least just 3 times. I am sure the more you go the better off it will look.

You could try a chemical peel,,or micro dermabrasion.
If you use an exfoliate daily like platinum labz
acne annihilator it will lessen scars over time.
