Acne Prevention.....

Starting this thread for those who are quite prone to acne/backne.

I would like to hear from you experienced users who are prone to acne and what steps you take during your cycle to reduce/control/eliminate symptoms. Lets get opinions on all types of measures from increasing your shower frequency, types of skin cleanser, topical solutions, and/or oral meds such as accutane.

My first cycle (500 test e, 400 deca)i got bad back acne which when away during pct.
My second cycle (100test p, 75 tren ace, 50 mast ED) my skin became clearer then ever - not a single pimple.
So I guess switching to more androgenic stuff clears my acne.

I just read an article yesterday that Accutane is one step closer to being pulled - they are now linking it to IBD.

I get bad bacne. However, I saw my Dr. about it, and he put me on amoxicillin, 500 mg 2x/day, and that cleared up about 90% of it. For the rest, I use a loofa on a handle and some facial soap for oily skin. Between the two, I can keep it mostly under control.

i am looking into taking terramycin (oxytetracycline HCI) cattle antibiotics. not sure if this is one of the ok ones to take. some are dangerous some arent. if it pans out i will run that. if not im going to order human grade. i hear it works well.

I use an Arbonne skin cleanser in the shower from there SKY line and brush it onto my skin...Seem to worok really well then i use there acne toners

dont laugh but my friend told me to take b12,b6 while on .says it speeds up the emune system any one heard of this

Nice info here. I have yet to do my first cycle, but when I went through puberty I had acne/bacne BAD. So before I do start thinking about getting on the gas I want to have a good game plan. Amoxicillin would sound like a safer choice as opposed to Accutane. I have heard Accutane is hard on your liver as well. So do you run the amox the entire cycle?

I've not heard of b12 or b6 being recommended, but b5 is commonly used. I tried 20g a day for a month and saw no discernable difference though. Never tried accutane but the only things that have worked for me are creams. I used Nizoral for chest and back acne before my morning shower and Panoxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide cream before going to bed.

I generally start it about the 2nd week, and go for 30 days. I find the bacne seems to hit me the hardest from Anavar and Winstrol or if my test intake (cyp) is over 600/week.

also what ive tried that works for my bacne was, getting a back scrubber with a handle and scrubbing my back with either clearasil or a 10% bp wash, after a shower, put on either a salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide cream, then put baby powder over it , then throw a tshirt on a go to sleep, the powder will mostly be not visible by the morning, i feel this really dries em up.

DAMN good info bro. I have some Nizoral shampoo which I have been using on my scalp to prevent hair loss since I am on TRT, but never heard of this used for acne until you mentioned it. I just spent an hour researching it and the mechanism by which it works makes sense. Awesome advice.

For those who use the shampoo for your scalp how often do you use it? Three times per week or every day?

Benz Peroxide 10% everyday in shower seemed to help a lot. That, plus I would tan about every 3 days. The tan was the biggest help. It really cleared my skin up. Also, like the above poster mentioned, a hot tub with chlorine really helps rid me of acne. Those 3 combined will do the trick, at least for me. I haven't tanned in a while and I ran out of benzoyl peroxide so I am now noticing acne starting up again on shoulders and back.

mine all happened last summer during tren deca cycle..i lost my ac for close to 2 months in 95 degree weather...sweated all day and night and my back flared up and never healed..i now look like i got drug down a gravel road for a few miles

My back is the same bro, so dont feel alone. had some cystic fuckers, now im left with scars. been getting keloid shots from the derm to try to flatten them out but they dont do much for the color, they just make them less raised.

I have read that the intake of oral antibiotics can throw off the balance of flora in your stomach and intestine, thereby decreasing the bodies efficiency at utilizing nutrients from food properly. Wouldn't this hamper gains during a cycle, or would the effect be minuscule?

Try rubbing back/chest/shoulders with acne spots with toothpaste at night before you go to bed. Do this a couple nights in a row and do NOT moisturize area and it WILL dry up.. You can notice results of drying after first night.

The effect is so small that I wouldn't even worry about it. If you want to be on the safe side, take some pre and pro biotics.

Myself and most of the guys I work closely with have been using acne annihilator by platinum labz for the last 1.5-2 yrs.
Best OTC I have ever used for acne treatment and prevention. Works well and very cheap.

I was on Accutane.....shits great but brutal....chapped lips 24/7 and inside of my nose was dry all the time....always got sunburnt ....fml
