ACNE holy crap -- could these supplements cause this?

Hi all! I am in the third week of eating a clean diet, and I started using the following supplements a week ago: Cardio Breeze, Alcar, and Glucorell R. And four days ago I started breaking out on my face worse than I can remember. I do have really sensitive skin and use only fragrance free products, but I haven't made any changes to facial routine or laundry detergent. I am on a trip, but get home this afternoon and am going to start Pantothenic Acid in moderate doses.

Has anyone else experienced acne from use of these supplements? Maybe it is not related at all, but as I said I haven't changed anything else and it is not near that time of the month.

How is your hydration? If you are even SLIGHTLY dehydrated, it can cause pimples.

Maybe with the "new" clean diet, the crap/toxins/processed food is being pushed out of your body? You might need to step up the washing of the face and minimizing makeup for a few weeks.

Also, with the summer coming, maybe the humidity or heat is causing havoc too. Maybe skip the facial moisturizer for a few weeks too.

I can't imagine any of the supps doing that, but you never know. Like Ulter said, I would drop the supps for a week, then add them back in ONE AT A TIME. That way, you can see if it is ONE product doing this, and you can eliminate just that one.

OK, hydration is good -- drinking at least a gallon of water a day. But, I left out one supplement -- Dietex. However, the acne started before the Dietex, so I doubt that's it. And these aren't just little blemishes either -- I normally don't wear makeup on a daily basis -- only if I am working or going out, and haven't been doing doing much of either lately.

OK, I will stop them for a few days and see if there is any change.

Thanks!
