Acne Help

Here is the deal.

I finished my cycle about 11 weeks ago. Started getting some shoulder acne toward the end of my cycle.

It has not gotten better at all. Got real bad through HCG and clomid treatment.

I had to do post cycle stuff twice, so mabye that has something to do with it.

I tried an antibiotic, and all it did was give me the screaming shits.

Any ideas ?

I had the same problem. I started to wash my shoulders and arms with Neutragena Acne wash. I do that nightly, and once or twice a week use a 'scrub' too. Try apricot body scrub. If you have a wife, girlfriend, sister etc, then chances are you have this stuff in your house :) It cleared my problem up, hope it helps you as well. Good luck.

I feel your pain on this one..... Any help from people i sgreatly appreciated........

I came off sust like 4 or 5 weeks ago... my shoulder acne still isnt gone... DAMN IT!

One word.......ACCUTANE

It works and NOTHING is better......NOTHING!!!

Thanks, but I'm afraid of that shit. I know a few guys that have had pretty bad reactions to it. I would consider that as a last resort.

Any one had success with anything else ?

Part of the reason that I break my ass at the gym is so I can take my shirt off for the slightest excuse. :D

I'd like to be able to do that again !

Im currently on accutane at 80mg ED, and no sides other than chapped lips...I tried every antibiotic known to man for this shit, as well as B5 and tea tree oil with little to no results. As far as Im concerned Accutane isnt half as bad as people make it out to be.

There is an accutane gel applied topically, you might want to try that..

The gel is called Diffren(sp)

My wife was on for 6 months at 80mg and was taken off because of very high tryglicerides and Liver values. I put her on a 1 month cycle of ALA/EFA/Gugglebolic/B-5 and was back on Accutane in 30 days.

It is very hard on you and made my wife depressed.

GO LAY IN THE FUCKING TANNING BED!!!!!

And get your ass a tube of .05% or .1% Retin-A cream. The Retin-a says not to use if you are in the sun but you only use it at night after a shower just before bed. If you tan and then use retin-a before bed, I guarantee you in just a few days your skin will be so damn dry that a zit couldn't possibly live on it. This combo makes my face so dry that it's flakey the next day and I have to put lotion on it to get rid of the crust. Your shoulders are covered by your shirt so just leave it dry (no lotion) and the zits will clear away fast.

ISOTREX gel (accutane gel) and Nizoral 2% shampoo daily along with anti bact soap (my mom brought me some irish spring for free the other day when she visited so i am not using antibact soap now...:)...hey free soap is free soap). but now one seems to listen to me about this.

Exactly right.

Most people make Accutane out to be some sort of TERRIBLE drug with outrageous side effects.

All you need to take as far as the steroid acne is concerned is ONE 40mg pill per day. DON'T TAKE MORE! It is NOT necessary.

If you take ONE pill per day (of the REAL Roche Accutane) and make sure you have PLENTY of Blistex Mediacted Lip Ointment as well as a good face cream (to apply 2-3 times per day) you will be just fine.

I have taken Accutane for 3+ years and have had ZERO side effects.

Just get some Accutane.........you will NOT regret it.

BTW: Yes, some people do have higher Cholesterol levels however these people are usually taking in AT LEAST 80mg/day.
(for SEVERE cystic acne)

I listened 2 you WARBIRDWS6, I am currently using Nizoral 2% shampoo with a scrub brush on my shoulders and back, vitamin
b-5 (pantothenic acid) 2000mg per day (my case is pretty bad) and Neutrogena Acne wash for my face. It's been 2 weeks since I started this and I have definitely noticed a difference, there is still some acne there but not nearly as bad. If you have access 2 the Accutane I would try it for a total solution, I would but it requires a prescription which I don't have and cant find, otherwise try my method.
Nizoral 2% shampoo Walmart $12
vitamin b-5 (pantothenic acid) vitamin shoppe $6
Neutrogena Acne wash Walmart $4

Quit Whining and live with your decisions,

its a side efect and the treatment will ahve side effects.

Am I wrong, Am I wroing

yeah it takes some time....like almost a month to see total results....but also remember the nizoral you are using is 1% if you got it OTC at walmart. therefore use it twice a day....perhaps to equal the difference in potency. i just kept using it after i shampooed and the acne and red spots just went away eventually. but yeah, i still got acne here and there with this treatment, and not until the accutane did i get full results of NO acne. expcept on my left arm right under my tri...there is a pocket of oil soaked fucking skin there that i think i could put under a fire and cause third degree burns and it would still break out. oh well. also just go to mastersmarketing to acquire the accutane gel w/o script....order a personal use supply and all else you need is a CC and a name of a good doctor. ;) look under "isotretinoin" and there will be Isotrex gel there. cheap and the tube lasts a while...with arm and face treatments only. whole body....well that would get expensive i'd say. better for spot treatments.

he fell off the wrong side of the bed again. :D the whole idea is to get the good results, and minimize or eliminate the side effects. but i guess we all got to walk around with zits all over, liver damage, high BP, no sex drive....to name a few things. :)
