Accutane post cycle

No experience yet but just ordered some for the same reason as you. I hope it works. I never had much acne since I was a teenager but towards the end of my first and only cycle, my back broke out. I'll start at 40mg/ ED at first then ramp up to 80mg/day for a few months.

I started Accutane last week... it's been 5 days. Seems like no more new acne starting but old is not cleared yet but that will take time. I got it from AG guys. It's listed as L-iso something.. One note that... the stuff tastes NASTY.

Make sure you start it about a month before pct or you'll break out bad during if that's when you have problems. It takes about a month to get your skin cleared, and it usually makes it worse in the meantime.

I wish I knew that a month ago I waffled back and forth whether I wanted to do L-iso or not for the last month of my cycle because the bacne was getting bad. No real reason for waffling...just did not want to self-overmedicate. I started it after PCT was running for 2 weeks or so. I seem to not have any new ones but the old ones are just as bad. I will definitely use this at the end of my next cycle.

Unless you already have severe syctic acne your not gonna get it from the dermo or unless you have acne maybe not the worst but have tried everything else first, they tend to see it as a last resort. Best source some yourself.

yeah i dont really have much, but it flares up once inawhile on my back, plus its summer and i just dont want to have to worry, i think im gonna give it a shot

Yeah just get some yourself. It will take a long time to get a referral from your gp then get into the dermo, all the ones around me have at least a month wait before you get in, its a royal pain in the ass. Much easier to source on your own. Just be careful of the sun and stuff because you can burn alot easier. I personally did not notice this much but some people do.

not a prob, i've done alot of research on it and sourced it my own and thru the doc so id say i know a thing or two. When you go to your doc just say you wanna go see a dermo because you tried all the antibiotics and they don't do anything. Once at the dermo sing the same song, "creams did nothing, anti b's did nothing, a friend of mine had really bad acne in school and he took this stuff called accutane and cleared him up really nice and he hasnt had a spot since" something to that effect. Like i said to them its a last resort. Also how much do you weight because the normal doseage is 1mg per kg of bodyweight so if you think you can sneak a few pounds in there to get a higher dose and save it up for future use might be a good idea, thats what i did.

246-250, yeah i got a real cool dermo, she treats alot of people on juice and dosent even think its a bad thing, she will get me it if i want it, but i gotta do a blood test, my derm. is cool, but i dont know about everyone else in the staff....thats why i was thinking about doing it myself,what do you think?

The dermo is the one with a phd not the staff so what they say goes. Your a lucky son of a bitch if you know they treat juicers for acne!!! As long as your bloods come back good then they will probably give you it if its bad enough and you push for it like i did. They test monthly for cholesterol and liver vaules IIRC, i might be missing something else but those were the big ones they watch out for. As long as your not drinking and healthy without any liver probs you should be all set. if not just source it yourself but try the dermo first as its much cheaper (im assuming you have ins.)

40mg ed is a lot to prevent acne,

i'd do 20mg eod and see how that works for you... i've ran accutane for 6 months & then have began using it myself to prevent breakouts during & post cycle

20mg eod whenever you're having problems should clear you right up... start low, the side effects of accutane are annoying (chapped lips, etc)

40mg is alot unless you already have ance and its a problem. If you just get it from juice then 20mg eod like tical said would be a good starting dose and if it gets really bad then 20mg everyday. At a dose like that you won't notice the sides at all really just some dryness but not as bad as on 40mg a day.

Apparently one of its side effects is causing severe depression. Thats just what a specialist told me when I said I wanted to be prescribed that stuff for my bad back acne.

Yup, I heard the same thing. I guess I'm not prone to it or I haven't been on it long enough because all I feel is less acne.......almost none. Amazing stuff, fsat acting for me as well. I'm using research too.
