ACCUTANE,,,first months horrible.... possible CURE??

I know during the first month or so your acne gets considerably bad, BUT,,,

What if you went with a lower dose and during the first month or so took 10 grams of B5.

Do you guys think this would minimize acne flare ups during the first month or so?

EXAMPLE:
Day 1 - 31 40mg Accutane, 10 grams B5
Day 32 - 50 40mg Accutane, 5 grams B5
Day 51 - 120 40mg Accutane

BRO I AM ONLY TAKING 1 TAB A DAY.. BUT U HAVE TO BE VERY METICULOUS ABOUT TAKING TABS OFF THE TAPE.. IF COATING IS REMOVED AND EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT IT WILL OXIDIZE FAST.. THAT IS WHY I THINK SOME PPL DONT GET GOOD RESULTS WITH THEM.. LIKE THE GUY I BOUGHT THEM OFF OF HE SAID THEY DIDNT DO SHIT FOR HIM BUT THEY ARE WORKING AWESOME FOR ME.. HMM.. I WONDER WHY.. IF YOUR CASE IS MILD LIKE MINE THEN 1 TAB IS SUFFICENT.. I MAY STEP IT UP TO 2.. NEXT WEEK..

I don't know anything about Chinese accutane. But as a kid I was prescribed the real thing many times for acne. It was always a steady dose. I'm no Dermatologist, but if lowering he initial dose helped I'm pretty sure at least one of them would have suggested it. I was told by one of the Derms that you need to build a certain blood concentration for it to do it's job.

dirkpitt51-Some derms will prescribe it like it was pez, others made me go though every other treatment they had before they put me on it. Depends on the doc.

Hey guys, I just started 80mg/day last week and I feel like i am going to dry up!! It was easy to get a script, especially after a big test/D-Ball cycle. Back is already clearing up, but my body itches like no other!

guys stay away from the chinaman's Accutane.. I may look like a lamer but I am telling you from EXPERIENCE.. and conversations with doctors.. that isotretinoin is a very complicated and dangerous drug.. manufacturing it really shouldn't be done without the right supervision.

If you really need accutane goto your doc. They will monitor your BP and liver, etc while your on it and give you the REAL thing. Just tell them that you HATE acne and can not live with it any longer it makes you so depressed.. and you need a fix very soon. Also mention you've tried numerous other drugs and the therapy did not work.. say the shit came back. (Of course you would say this to a NEW derm) .. any way.. thats what i did and it worked..

if she won't prescribe it though I will get it the other way.
bacne fucking sucks! I don't even like going to the beach because I have about four big zits on my back. Not as bad as some people, but still it fucking sucks!

i took it years ago for juice acne. i was given a 6 month supply, but it had to stop after 2 bc my triglyceride levels got too high. doc said i had the highest he had ever seen. the 2 months i was on sucked. i was dried out all the time but it worked. 100% cured

If you tell your doctor how concerned you are about having acne on your body I think your doctor will understand and give you the script. Accutane works great but your skin will be very dry, especially your lips and nose.

I couldn't agree more with musclebones. I've been on it at least half a dozen times in my life with different docs and they all took it very seriously, blood tests every month and always watching my reaction very closely. Particularly if you're doing them with AS go to a doc and get the real thing and the subsequent blood tests. And yea, tell them how they affect you emotionally and you can throw in how painful they sometimes are. If you really want to put on a show email me and I'll send you a list of other acne meds you can tell the doc you've tried without success.
