For me after real food, Protein, multivites, glutamine peptides. (no creatine for me since it does absolutely nothing to me. Still waiting for something new).
I hope it helps you. I have bad joint pain also, have been on glucosamine/chondritin for over a year & can tell no relief at all. Disappointing, because I had read good things about it.
