abscess picture help

I had one about that big in my glute about 6 yrs ago 2 or 3 inch incision 1 1/2 deep I used a long pin and had to leave wound open to drain!
I could put my hand in the gapping hole took months to heal left bad scar and scar tissue. I cant inject to close to it.

It is a hole because a big pocket of puss forms and the doc has to slice it open and drain all the puss out leaving a huge hole in your muscle. I had one about that big as well in my glute, The doc said he drained at lest 2 quarts of puss out of my ass. He was supposed to put me to sleep but I had finals the next day. Hurt like a bitch.

So kids if your ass starts to get red and swolen and you think you might have an infection, go see you doctor asap. It is not a pretty experience if they have to cut it open. I must have lost about 20lbs from coming off cold tukey and laying up in the bed for almost three weeks straight. Thats about the best I can explain it bro.

If your ass gets red and swollen then you need to change your recreational habits

That is some nasty picture. 
Is an abscess more the result of bad solution or is it the pin itself or both?
