abscess or BA reaction? Need hellp.

Hey bros, I am lost here


I have been using this QV prop to wind down my cycle and dont you know Monday was my last injection and it fucked me up. Every single injection i have done has caused lumps and inflamation so i havn't given it much though, but this last one, in my left glute is seriously inflamed, it had been about 9 days since I used that site before. I used a 25 GA 1.5 in needle and did 1.5 CC's I think I may have leaked some into the subq area while pulling out but it is the muscle that is lumped up. Yesterday I broke a fever. I have been taking tetracycline for acne anyways and use new syringes and lots of alcohol so I can't see how it would be an abscess but Im feelin nasty. Took some advil and the fever went away. I woke up this morning feeling fine but now this afternoon i feel like shit again. I have tripled my tetracycline dose just in case but maybe I should go to the doctor or hospital if it doesn't clear up by to tommorrow. I have a test tommorrow morning and took a couple of decadron today to kill the swelling, I can't miss the test even though I know that may mask the symptoms. Any suggestion (no flames) are welcome.

The only reason I am thinking it is not abscessed is that it is not tender at all, just lumped up.

Go see a doctor asap. Stop the tetracycline, antibiotics are no good for muscle growth.

actually most docs are more aware these days then you think.. I live in FL and have been to 10's of doctors and none of them give a shit about it... Of course i am perscribed test by my endo but still im like 22 and none of them give me any shit..

Why has this same stupid question been asked fifty times in the last few days. You cannot develop an infection or abcess over night. An abcess takes many days if not weeks to develop. Unless you know wtf your doing do not self administer antibotics. For an abcess that has lead to systemic infection or celluitis you need zitromax or augmaten. Shit like kelflex is worthless. You have a reaction to BA at this time nothing more. Put a warm compress on the area to help reduce the imflamation and pop a few ibuppofen.
