About the 5x5?

when doing 5x5 chanches are you are doing deadlifts and or power cleans. Those work the traps hard.
 
I do back and shoulders together, so after the heavy 5x5 deadlifts, a few sets of 10 reps on shrugs and they will be cooked
 
Yes, deads will kill your traps. I also do 4 sets of shrugs 8-10 reps at the end of my back workout.
