hey everyone i was just wondering if anyone had a chance to read some of his books on drugs etc? there is some facts in there i was wondering about. example. PCT is pretty much useless. your DIET wont effect the way you look? i dont know i have gotten alot of good knowledge from Mods like Radar that PCT is a must. and your diet is key from points from everyone on the forum. i just wanted to hear some f your opinions. there is some good info definetly in the books he wrote though.

I read all of his books. Before I did, I thought he may be intelligent. Now that I have, I am 100% convinced that he is a brain-dead moron who pulls all of his "advice" directly out of his ass, and does not have even the most basic understanding of how a human body works.

shit bro. i dont know what to think. all the knowledge here pretty much is opposite than his books. all the mods here are very intelligent ill would take there word for sure over his

He says shit like that to create controversy and sell books. I bet if you looked at his diet and juice regimine, it would be more along the lines of the general consensus

he really pushed protein factory's "PCT" and "Unleashed" for PCT.

So how can you say one thing and do another.

RADAR

I think NM is entitled to free-speech and he used that to his advantage so to speak. I read the books, and I'm not impressed by his inability to comprehend Ketosis and that the brain can, for the most part, work on ketones. That's a known fact proven by studies...Also, after reading him use the words "fool, jackass, morons," (towards members) I felt that his immaturity and arrogance was beyond my interest.

As radar has stated, Nelson was a big fan of herbs for pct - noteably the ones he was affiliated with. he was also against the use of clomid for pct - BUT always stated that pct was a must, so I am not sure why he was state the exact opposite in his books?

Heh I remember when Nelson use to post here! The good ole' days of constant controversy with NM. He was always against the grain.

Chris

for the record (on here anyways), he didnt say PCT was useless, just that clomid sucked (he even said it worked on some), and that there are better alternatives.

I have not read any of his books so I cant comment there.

I thought he was hilarious but started too much drama - like a sad clown almost. Personally, I never had problems with the guy, and, in fact, admire his ability to sell his book. Drama or not, he knew how to push it.

Remember, always drink your protein with fat, otherwise all of it will become glycogen and will not be used to build muscle.

Funny you guys just mentoined this. Check out MuscleMag Feb. 2005 edition. Page 168. A full out article on how to build massive wheels .. BY NELSON MONTANA! Couldnt believe it!

Anywhoo .. I think that the guy hurt his book sales more than he pushed them by some of his rediculous preachings. he could NEVER admit when he was wrong. He would argue against every mod vet ..EVEN DOCTORS on issues ... just to look controversial. Like he knew a new secret method that goes against everything science and experience has taught us so far. What he knew .. taht we didnt know .. was the bodybuilding truth! lol.

Him and JA used to get into it quite a bit. Same with him and FONZ. The who would win in a fight Fonz vs Montana thread was hillarious. A Sissy slap-fest for the ages! Classic whoever wrote that.

in a snese he was tryin' to be Duchaine
be a contrarian and cause controvery, get noticed
while Duchaine HAD to be,Nelson was somewhat of a mocking bird
I found maybe 20-25% of his thoughts to be useful
it is good to occassioanlly challenge a paradigm and perhaps question "what has always been done"

He'd would keep fighting like 3 weeks after losing the argument.

good old nelson...he was a moron..but he brough such a twist to the board...i felt like i was watchig a new movie every time i sat down in front of the computer....

i wish him and JA would come back..shit was funny
