If we were to put Arabs or Muslims in Camps, who would it be to protect...those in the camp, or those on the outside.

Do you think if we had another attack here there would be a lot of wanna be Schwarzenegger vigilantes sp? out there trying to fix the problem themselves resulting in a need for mo protection for the arabs and muslims?

This kind of reasoning allowed for Social Security to pass: "you can't save for your future, so we will take it from you to save for you". These "good of the people" projects are really projects of control, so no matter how good the intentions, you are still denying a person their freedom if you put them in a box for "their own good". And, truthfully, how safe are you, when you allow someone to force you into a "box"? You are totally dependant on the intentions of your keeper.

If a Muslim truly feels unsafe from others, then, if he is a citizen, has the right to buy a gun, like I do, and protect himself and his family. If he shoots someone, then he, like I, will have to defend his actions to society. He is a free man, until his actions deem him a threat to the rights of others, not before.

I agree with you on all of that, but, I do not want to have to live like the people in Isreal where you have a bus being blown up every other day. Is there a way to keep people safe and still give everyone their freedom?

I would say the Subways, you blow up a subway, tunnel collapses, people trapped, maybe tunnels getting flooded not to mention the fact that the 3rd rail has high voltage. It would be a nightmare.


Or...maybe Penn Station having a towlhead blow himself up during rush hour.

Or maybe blow up a ferry crossing the river.

Small things like that could wreck havoc all over the city

Once this starts happening, there is nothing you can do aside from staying in your house. The liberals wont protect you...

There will most likely be future terrorist attacks, but it will be our own doing. From memory (so I may be wrong) weren't all of the hi-jackers here with Visa's whether real or fake? We do have the right to deport all individuals here with Visa's since they are government privileges, not rights. Until we have a hold on this crap, we don't have to let anyone else into our country on Visa's. Any reasonable person can see that this does not constitute a violation of civil liberties, as would internment camps.

As for becoming like Israel, I doubt it, we are not bordered by nations that want us dead, which is the fact of life of Israel. Not to mention that a large portion of our problem is derived from Israel and our culpability in it's existence.

If you let your child go off in the custody of a known pedophile, can you relinquish all responsibility when your child is molested? Can you abdicate all responsibility if you leave loaded weapons around small children? You bear a certain amount of responsibility for not preventing actions that can reasonably be foreseen.

I agree with this 100%. However, you said "reasonable person" which means those such as SSAlexSS and 2Thick would think exactly the opposite.
