About keto and Metamucil

I bought some metamucil, orange flavor. Now on the label it says 0 sugars, but there is aspartame and maltodextrin. The total serving contains only 5 grams of carbs, all fiber so it says. Is there anyway one serving in 8 oz. water 2 x a day can kick you out of ketosis?
 
so long as there are no net impact carbs, it shouldn't be a problem. I stick to pure psyllium simply because I like to be sure, but metamucil generally tastes a lot better and should be an acceptable alternative.
 
I like the Citricel (sp?) better.

It's getting harder to find the 100% psyillium fibre. They take up most of the shelf space with the orange or other flavored/enhanced stuff.

I just mix the plain stuff in with my protein shakes.

The same benefit that fiber holds in any diet - regularity and overall colon health.

The staples of a ketogenic diet (meat, cheese, eggs, oil, etc) are, for all intents and purposes, pretty low in the fiber department. Gotta get it somewhere.
