About aspiration and injections, some questions...

has anyone here ever actually drawn in blood and had to reinsert, i mean is it common ? this is my 4th cycle and i just learned about aspiration this time, i wonder how lucky i was the first few times, or if those occasions are really rare...

you should flick the air bubbles to the top of the syringe after withdrawing and before injecting, then slowly push the plunger to get rid of the air bubbles. yes you will lose a little sauce but not enough to really matter and this will be good lubricant. gotta admit sometimes i forget to do this and nothing has happened. i have been lax about aspirating lately...

one time i injeced too close to the side of my glute and think i hit a bone. it hurt but only for a second. i then reinjected.

what would happen if you injected too much air anyhow?

I have never injected anything, and I am doing all the reading I can about it, before I start my first cycle. I am going to use my glute to inject, and when I read about aspirating, things get a little hazy: When I pull the plunger, what do I want to see, air bubbles?? Definately not blood, I know that, but where is this air coming from? Isn't it REALLY bad to inject yourself with air?

Can we use this thread to talk IN DETAIL about injecting and aspirating? Could I get some very specific hints and tips?

I have someone to inject me in the glutes, since I don't want to do it myself... So I can't comment about how to do it, but can tell you how much it hurts... After the injection I usually put a piece of tape on it because I don't want any blood stains on my clothes... Pulling that piece of tape off after a few hours hurts more then the injection itself... Just to let you know that the pain of the injection is nothing to be afraid of... You'll feel a light sting (not even as painfull as a mosquito bite), and then you may feel the needle going in deeper, which doesn't hurt, but might feel weird... pushing the oil in doesn't hurt either... after a while you'll feel the oil spreading (like there is something 'heavy' in the musscle)

I think that the site is getpins.com or something like that and there is a link that explains how and where to inject. It is a very good web site and I think it will help you out a lot. Be careful on your first I remember on my first that I was sweating so bad and started to get light headed almost passed out. Moral of the story may want to go to knees before you inject. Not so far a fall. lol

so let me get this right.. you stick yourself with the needle, and then pull back a little to see if u have air, blood, or a lot of blood. and if there is air or a very little blood u can inject, and if there is a lot of blood, pull out... did i get this right?

I use the Iiliac crest as a landmark, if you're injecting on the right side, find that spot and go down 3" then right 1-2"...you should still be in the upper right quadrant of your ass cheek. Make sure you have no air in the syringe, wipe the area with an alcohol swab and "throw" the pin in at a 90 degree angle. When you have it at least 1" in, take your thumb and pull out on the plunger slightly. If you're in a vein, it will move easily...no need to pull with enough force to suck in air. Blood is much less viscous than oil and will draw easily. If you see blood in the end, pull out and move to either side a hair and reinject. Repeat aspiration sequence. Inject slowly and wipe with another clean alcohol pad after. Apply pressure with the pad for 30 seconds. You might see a drop of blood after you move the pad, no big deal. Trust me on this next step...Massage the hell out of the area for a few minutes after. A hot shower and more massaging will help reduce soreness.

I have been through 2 cycles now and never aspirated! I guess I am lucky so far! My question is, there were times when I was REALLY sore from the shot but the majority of the shot's I hardly felt anything the next day! If you do shoot into your vain accidentally, what does it feel like and what are the ramifications? Thanks, in advance peep's!!

Yeah dude those little air bubles are normal. You need like half syringe of air in your bloodstream to kill you. Even if you see a little amount of blood is OK. Now if you see a large amount of red blood coming into the syringe pull out immediately.

no, you need about 10-30 cc's. You have never heard of the air-lock method have you?
