About Arnold and Liquidex- (a repost)

well... i got flamed by bulldog the first time i posted this so i deleted it... then he asks me where the thread went cause he wanted to hear responses on it.... so i'm reposting it.

Arnold did not use Liquidex, yet the fact remains that he is considered to be the most popular bodybuilder ever......

Why do you think you need liquidex?

BTW... let's not get into a discussion about who is the best/most popular bodybuilder... it's not the point of the thread

Anyway, how do you think we'll ever know what he have been taking. Do you honestly think he'll be telling you or do you trust everything you hear ??? :D

well seeing as liquidex wasn't around back then.... i'm pretty sure he wasn't taking it (or arimidex for that matter).

btw, if anybody else knows something i don't, like arimidex really was around back then, how about discretely shooting me a pm so i can delete this thread and cut my risk of looking like an idiot. thx.

thanks jeff..

and one more thing... before we get into how "well arnold didn't have it then, but you have it now so why now take advantage of it" - which is a valid point in it's own rite - BUT what i'm getting at is if Arnold could get to the top of his profession without using such preventive measures as liquidex so you can "take larger dosages of AAS" - then are you doing something wrong.

perhaps 1g of test/week is not necessary.

perhaps test is not the way to go at all - maybe arnold never took it.

perhaps large dosages of anything are not necessary.

perhaps the answer the perfect AAS is right under your nose, yet we haven't discovered the exact how's and why's of how to use it.

so like i said, let this not be another thread about the technicalities of the wonders of liquidex, but rather the philosophy of liquidex itself in comparison to those who laid the foundation of bodybuilding and their techniques and knowledge on reaching the top of their profession.

Yes Decem, but in those days they trained differently

Arnold did it every body part twice a week. In the off saison he looked like shit. Not like some of the pro's now in off saison, but very skinny, like Zane and the others. They only trained for 1 or 2 events a year.
He took D-bol and Primo and ... i forgot about the 3d favorite of his.
In the seventies a roid gutt was out of the question. You would not win with that. Now it is different.

I saw a show on TLC not too long ago about steroids and bodybuilding. In an interview with Arnold he said that he has competed with steroids and without steroids, and it really made no difference to him whether he used them or not. He used them a lot at an early age to get the size. But let's face it, he definately has the genetics. And he trained his ass off. He was around positive people (friends) and they all wanted each other to succeed. He also had the time to put into training, nutrition and rest. Most of us have to working training, nutrition and rest into our lives after work or before work.
