Hogwash. "Woman" and "Girl" are arbitrary social constructs. In all of human history, until the past couple of hundred years, a 13 year old girl was for all intents and purposes a woman.

Really and you think they are mature at 13? Well are you going to let your 13 old have sex or let her get married when you have a daughter. Just because you can breed doesn't make a girl a woman. Well medical condition can apply to anything, but a normal pregnancy would more apt to be called a natural human condition and its funny that Danielson referred to it as a parasite, thats how it was taught to me to explain the gestation and growth. Ive worked with preemies and all of the extraordinary measures taken to help them live and you watch them grow into healthy children. Real life changes it from a political argument to flesh and blood living individuals that have constitutional rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. A few cm of tissue that we can see with our eyes with ultrasound and its the same a s a premature baby that we work with, only difference is its out of sight out of mind, its like passing a peach pit as some view it.

25 years ago it had dropped to 25 weeks.
Today we have a survivors at 20 weeks and several at 21 weeks.

I think they are trying to rationalize or put a "Medically Ethical Time Stamp" if you will, on Abortion being right or wrong.

its an example medical ethicists use in regards to abortion, they use the example of a famous violinist who you have been attached to surgically, and have to be attached to for 9 months in order for him to survive...

Its amazing how far the viability date has dropped, now its legally considered as 24weeks here but the likelyhood of them living complication free is very low

If they are in the extremes of prematurity they usually will have neurological deficits alongside other issues of prematurity

for a foetus to stand a really a decent chance, it usually has to be delivered +30 weeks i think

it is in UK law and I believe after the partial outlawing of partial birth abortions it is in the US. You are right though it does make sense
