AAS Users - Do you grow/maintain/lose OFF-cycle?

i normally lose about 1/4 if my gains when my cycle ends which is ok but still would like to keep more lol:rolleyes:

Well yeah, basically everybody loses a little bit during PCT time, but I'm talking about after PCT while you are training and waiting to take your next cycle. Do you actually keep losing since you are not on AAS or you just lose that initial 1/4 and then it levels off?
 
Actually I was complaining a few weeks back about losing some gains. I lost about 8 pounds in a week but then I realized it was water. What I can say is I am done with pct and I am way stronger now than I was before cycle. So basically I have kept on about 9 pounds of muscle and kept about 70% of my strength gains. I'm not losing any muscle now and I feel pretty dam good after a hcg,Sustain, toco-8, adex pct. So I am glad I started cycling again! :p

I obiously should have known I would lose water weight a few weeks after my last shot. It was just suprising how fast it dissapeared, plus I starting taking adex in pct but I do look leaner now.

yeah the weight dropped during pct is usually the only weight dropped until my next cycle..my cycles have all been quite simple though..not sure if it would be the same with more compounds,higher doses etc.
 
I can still gain naturally with 2 cycles per year. I prefer running shorter cycles and allowing plenty of time to recover.

Ah, thank you for sharing that. I am really trying to find out whether AAS use makes you dependant on drugs for gains or if natural gains can still be made between the anabolic steroid cycles. Are us AAS users basically stuck using AAS for gains or can we keep gaining naturally? I think what you do is pretty smart. A small little blast for 6-8 weeks, recover, keep working out hard and eating right, then 5 months later go on again for a short blast. Solid, keepable gains and you don't become dependant on it.

What I'm wondering is this:

Say you do a 12 week test enanth cycle 500mg/week.

By the end of the cycle your max bench is 315x1.

The Test clears your system, you take your PCT.

4 months later your max bench is up to 335x1.

Now if you gained those 20 pounds on your bench WITHOUT exogenous testosterone, does that mean that if you had stayed natural and NOT done the 12 week cycle, that someday your bench would be 335 NATURALLY?

Sorry if this is confusing.

Well honestly you shouldn't even really do a cycle until you've hit your natural peak. I went from 5'9" 135 to about 210 naturally. But my bodyfat went from 8% to about 16%. Now with a good couple cycles I'm at 200 with that same 8% and I just work to maintain that. Everybody hits their genetic peak at different times, but naturally you can't gain forever. You need that juice eventually.
 
unless you are no where near your genetic potential EVERYONE loses gains when they come off. and if you can still make gains when you come off you shouldnt be juicing in the first place
 
I'm down about 16 lbs, but I had to come off due to knee injury and couldnt walk for two weeks. So I couldnt work out, and diet went to hell for a few weeks. I'm now 3.5 weeks removed from that situation (still cant do legs). Alot of the weight was water even though I didnt look like I was Retaining any water. I'm 6 weeks removed from cycle and even with my circumstance I have kept a good amount of chest/back/arm size.
 
i cant maintain size while i cut the fat without juice. I never get huge but without it i would shrivel up to nothing while doing my summer cardio.
 
The first couple cycles I ran I stayed pretty close to what I gained on cycle. The last couple I ran I was always losing quite a bit once I came off.

But I have stayed bigger than I ever was before cycling. I never went below 190 after cycling, and it has been 6 years since my last. But before cycling I struggled to stay anywhere over about 170 lbs (from my starting weight of 145).

I think it just depends on how far beyond genetics you get. However far you exceed your body's natural limit, that is how far you can expect to drop within a couple years after you stop cycling. I got into the 220's on my very last cycle, but within 6 months I was struggling to hold on to about 210. Over the next year or so (even while working out), I got down into the 190's and never got back up from it.
 
Depends what I run.. superdrol put a lot of weight on very quickly and that was almost impossible to hold on to it.. kept a good bit but it wad a battle.. wady come easy go I suppose
